We came at a time when lunch was wrapping up (see what I did there) and before dinner, thus dinner entrees were not available. We each ordered different food where I went with the burger. There are a few burger varieties in the menu, so if you want a burger, you would be happy. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and came across as one who enjoys here work. She checked in a couple of times and made sure our beverages were full. The food arrived in a decent time. We were all happy, but the one negative was that my burger was a bit salty. Despite this, I had no problem finishing it off. If you are in the area, stop by and you may enjoy lunch (and maybe dinner).

We stopped here for lunch after a tour of Fort Niagara. The food and service was excellent. We both had Me England clam chowder to start. Then Lobster roll and Pico de Gallo and chips. We had an excellent lunch and would love to come back and enjoy the live music. The owner introduced herself she had time to shared some history of the place and street. We would registered l revisit this place again in the future.

Nice place, but how do they stay open with the Youngstown gestapo err I meant police following their patrons out the door. They pull you over for an observed infraction so minimally the village gets a parking ticket or the cop may blow a point .o8 for you seen a number of ypd drunk but hey youyare not a cop so off you go to jail for a dwi. Why does Youngstown need a police force when there is the sherrif near by, state police, parks police, border patrol, ice...I mean is Youngstown a den of crime needing round the clock cops....or is the ypd a nice cushy friends and family job benefit to collect taxes for the village? Disban the village and their gestapo

Family owned and operated, great selection of beer and wine, fantastic wings and pizza as well. 6 stars, if it was an option.

Service was excruciatingly slow for a quiet Saturday afternoon. 45 minutes from ordering to getting our food. Food was good, but not worth the long, long wait.

My husband and I love the Mug and Musket. Every meal is perfect and exactly as described on their menu. The Waitress are very friendly and very accommodating. They explain in detail what your getting and how your food is prepared. Just can’t say enough about this place .

Really great family run local business. Over the course of a few days we made several stops for Beef on Weck, Greek salad, fish fry and frosty beverages. Bartenders are excellent...we look forward to our next visit in a couple months!

Nice clean place with good food and nice staff. We are in our mid 40’s and were the youngest people in the place bye a entire generation. My steak was medium rare on one end and medium well on the other.

All the food was cooked just perfect. My family devoured every crumb. From the burgers, fries, tenders, and wings. I wish we lived closer. Family run place too with a pool table and darts. We loved it.

My girlfriend and I ordered the beef on weck. I felt like the old lady on the Wendy's commercial. WHERE's THE BEEF! The other couple that we were with had the red bird which was good.

Horrible food, completely clueless waitstaff. If a guest does not touch their food you might inquire as to why, instead of discussing with kitchen loud enough to be heard in dining room and still never addressing with guest. Please do us Youngstown residents a favor and let someone who has a clue about the restaurantbusiness to take over. Came in at 8:40 Ordered a drink and server wanted order because they were closing soon, less than 90 seconds later..Ill give you a hint, might want to at least let guest return from restroom and sit before askiing....

The Mug is becoming one of the best places in western my to see and hear great music being performed! Your hosts, Catherine and Mike Stella are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Great wings just the way you order them. They have pizza, sandwiches and a full menu. You'll love it! Located in beautiful downtown Youngstown, where people are still friendly!

It's not a good sign when you walk in at 6:30 on a Friday, and they're out of the fish fry special. They didn't even seem particularly busy so I'm not sure how that went wrong. Our waitress was very apologetic and eager to please, especially when she had to say they were out of hot dogs from the kids' menu, too. I was able to get a side of lemon and sriracha mayo, and sliced avocado with my burger, which made me happy, but my burger was cooked medium to medium well even though I ordered medium rare. Barely a hint of pink. Between that, and the toasted bun, it was on the dry side. Not juicy at all. The avocado was very fresh, though. My husband said his wings were perfect. My mother in law enjoyed her burger, but she actually wanted hers medium well. Service is good, but food was a mixed bag.

I have only been here on Wednesday evenings. They have an open mic so local talent can get up and play and sing. Some good, some not so good, but fun. They do serve food and there is a separate dining room, but I have never eaten here.

Variety of foods, caters to both locals and tourists. Everyone in our group liked what they got. A bit pricey but excellent service.

Got seated right away but was told there would be a wait because a big group came right in before us. Food was delicious. .. staff was great. The wait wasn't bad even with the big group.

Bacon blue Cajun burger was awesome! Fresh lettuce and tomato slices didn't need the mayo I asked for but I put it on anyway...

Hit or miss, when its good it was alright, nothing special. but when it's bad. ....alot of heavy entrees, ran out of sides, expecting haddock for the fish fry price as known in this area but cod was their choice, prices high for quality and bar area can be really loud. Went a few times, to give them a couple chances. Sorry won't be back.
