Exchange staff and installation leadership celebrated the official opening of both Qdoba Mexican Eats and Boston Market.
101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell Senior Advisor Command Sgt. Maj. Noel Foster assisted Boston Market Manager Michael Bedford and Fort Campbell Exchange General Manager Jermaine Wilson and Exchange Food Court Manager Aftab Khan with the grand opening of the Boston Market restaurant.
Afterwards, Khan, Foster and Wilson assisted Qdoba Manager Charity Shives to celebrate that restaurant's grand opening.
Wilson said offering both Qdoba and Boston Market to Fort Campbell service members and their families is a prime example of the Air Force and Army Exchange Services' commitment to providing services where they work, live and play. The Exchange is dedicated to offering restaurants with healthy menu options to ensure military families are healthy.
Qdoba offers an array of menu items like tacos, nachos, tortilla soup, burritos and burrito bowls. They also provide good-for-you dishes with healthy ingredients like grilled chicken and fresh vegetables.
Boston Market provides its signature home-cooked rotisserie chicken, meatloaf, ribs, turkey with side dishes like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. There are more than 100 healthy food combinations that have fewer than 550 calories.
Much like shopping at the Exchange, Fort Campbell soldiers and their families eating at the food court restaurants at the Exchange repay their community. In fact, in 2015, the Exchange gave back $2.3 million in earnings to the station's quality-of-life programs.
