Chick-Fil-A Opens New Restaurant In Atlanta Suburb

Alpharetta residents now have another location to get their chicken fix. A new Chick-Fil-A has opened in the metro Atlanta area.

The location of the Chick-Fil-A is a part of an expansion for Avalon, which is Alpharetta's mixed-used development where people can live, work, play and eat. The restaurant is expected to bring an additional 100 jobs to the area.

John Crays will operate the Avalon location. He operates the Chick-Fil-A in Decatur and Stone Mountain as well.

Crays said he is excited about offering Chick-Fil-A to the community of Alpharetta and travelers in the area. He said the goal is to give all customers an amazing experience and serve food guests they love, offer genuine hospitality and be a good neighbor.

The Avalon restaurant is a 5,000-square foot with a completely brick exterior. The inside will include a large gathering wood table that's comprised of subway tiles and reclaimed wood. The light fixtures are comprised of recycled Coca-Cola bottles. The restaurant can sit 140 people at one time.

It has a full-service menu and has working hours from 6: 30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It will also offer free Wi-Fi, a two-story inside play area and drive-thru service.

This will be the fourth Chick-Fil-A restaurant for the Alpharetta area. This location is the first of two that will open for the metro-Atlanta area for the month of April and seven anticipated to open for 2017. On April 27, the second Chick-Fil-A restaurant will open along Cascade Road SW.

The Chick-Fil-A Avalon restaurant is one of the 102 locations that are set to open in 2017 throughout the nation. This will lead to the creation of approximately 9,000 jobs
