Phoenix coffee lovers are in for a big surprise - they're getting a Dutch Bros. stand. It'll be the areas 16th location - in the area of Indian School Road and 32nd Street.
Dutch Bros began with a single coffee pushcart in the 1990s in Oregon and has quickly become a multi-million dollar franchise.
Josh Hayes, Dutch Bros general manager, said the goal is to keep the brand's culture the same everywhere. He said to ensure this happens, current employees are the only ones that can set up a stand.
Hayes said a person must have worked at least three years with the company, with one year being a manager. He said the reason the company grows organically is that the franchise owner knows what needs to be done and how for the next community they go into.
