LG Electronics Offers Budget-Friendly Smartphone To Budget-Conscious Consumers

LG Electronics recently announced the LG Aristo, a budget-friendly Android Smartphone for MetroPCS and T-Mobile consumers. The mid-range device will be offered for $59 and have low hardware specs that consumers who don't care about high-tech processors will love.

The LG Aristo has a five-inch In-Cell touch display with 294 pixels-per-inch and a 720 X 1280HD screen resolution. The In-Cell technology provides amazing color and clarity for viewing.

It also sports a sleek design, with its eight-millimeter slim design, a 2.5D tempered glass and sleek edges to offer users a better grip. It gets its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core SoC, with a clock rate of 1.4 GHz. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and 1.5 GB of RAM.

It has a 13-megapixel camera in the front, with the ability to support 1080p video capture, and LED flash. The phone has other features like Selfie Light, Gesture Shot, image editor and Auto Shot. With the Gesture Shot, users can capture pictures by using hand gestures such as making a first that will take four quick selfies in a row. The Auto Shot option will take selfies immediately with face recognition.

The smartphone has various connectivity options - Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS with A-GPS, USB Tethering and more.

The LG Aristo comes with a 2410mAh battery that allows for 17 hours and 10 minutes of talk time and a standby time of a little more than 14 days.

LG Aristo went on sale at MetroPCS on Jan. 23 and was available in T-Mobile stores for $144 a month or $6 a month for two years.
