North Myrtle Beach To Get New Aldi Store

A ribbon cutting ceremony is being held March 23 for the new Aldi's in the North Myrtle Beach area.

The ceremony starts at 8:25 a.m., with the first 100 customers getting a golden ticket that will include an Aldi gift card of differing amounts. People who attend the ceremony can check the store out and taste various Aldi-exclusive products. They'll also get a free eco-friendly bag from Aldi.There will be a limited number of these available. Customers can enter the on-site sweepstakes for their chance to win one year's worth Aldi produce.

The store in North Myrtle Beach will have a new look, using customer input. It will have expanded sections for many of its popular products, include a plethora of fresh produce to choose from, natural lighting and high ceilings. The Aldi building comprises of environmentally-friendly materials such as energy-saving refrigeration, recycled materials and LED lighting.

The store will be located along Highway 17 N. and will open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
