If I could give this store lower ratings I would. My 85 yr old mother who wanted a Betta Fish, you know the ones so called fighting fish, So she could enjoy their beauty & Admire their personalities in her small Apt was disrespected beyond my comprehension by the young girl at the register to CK us out. We spent an hour in that store. Picking out the correct and small / semi small beta fish tank made specifically for those types of fish with the pictures of the betta fish on the box. She picked out one of the tanks that had a divider since you cannot put those two types of fish together and she picked out two beautiful betta fish for their new home along with lots of accessories gravel, fish food, Plants etc. when we got to the register the young girl refused to sell me the betta fish telling me that the tank that I had chosen was too small and it would not be a good quality of life for those fish. I said excuse me are you serious? She replied again that she was not going to ring me up because the tank that I had chosen which was specifically made for the beta fish which I believe was a 2 gallon tank would not give those fish a quality of life that they needed a bigger tank. She then stated we have a 5 gallon tank that's half off you can purchase I'll ring that up for you! I again said I do not want a larger tank since these are smaller fish and I want the tank that I am trying to purchase that was sitting at the register for the betta fish. I then proceeded to tell her that I once owned a tropical fish store and raised betta fish and I know all about their quality of life. The lines had started backing up in the store as she was the only one at the register. I again ask her to ring me up and she refused saying that I needed a bigger tank because of their quality of life would be limited in that small Betta fish tank that I picked up in their store specifically for that type of fish. There was a divider in that tank to separate the two males where they would not invade each other's space which is what it's made for. I explained this to her and she still insisted that she was refusing to ring me up or sell me those items or the fish. Unless I bought a bigger tank. I then told her just keep the fish and let them sit in those tiny little cups that you have them in with just about five tablespoons of water and I will take my business elsewhere which I did going down the street to another pet store and purchased the same items and was treated with respect and was sold the exact same thing that I would have bought in their store. My main complaint was the way that my 85-year-old mother was treated. This cashier had no clue about any quality of life especially for a betta fish. My Mother's new betta fish are thriving in the exact same tank that we purchased from the other pet store down the street. Do better PetSmart! Educate your employees before you hire them!!! Gezzzz!!

Terrible experience. Liz in the fish dept tried to tell me one of their emaciated, sickly angelfish (1 of 3) died bc I don't buffer my water. I keep my water super clean @ <10 nitrates and then she tried to say it died bc I had them in a quarantine size tank but they were dime size.... Anywhere you research says not to chase ph. So, if you don't buffer your water, be prepared for an argument. I just wanted to rescue their low quality fish from being starved and was accused of being a bad fish keeper. I left and purchased a replacement at Airport Rd. Tested their water parameters in the bag when I got home and the ph was lower than mine.

I've had good experiences shopping here. I love being able to order online and quickly picking it up on the way home. They always seem to be well stocked. Staff is friendly and they always give my some pets, attention, and treats- which he enjoys.

The closing staff especially the female at the front register as soon as we walked in first thing out of her mouth was… We close in 15 minutes, it wasn’t good evening welcome to Petsmart or anything like that, very rude and self centered. And the manager on Dusty kept repeating the closing announcements back to back twice each time after we had been told three times when it was closing. Also I called the store and spoke to the male manager on duty and asked if he had blue buffalo soft chew filets and he said no we don’t. I drive there Anyways to find they had every flavor and some. I showed the male associate on my way out and he was to busy texting didn’t even seem to care

PetSmart is fine, but the mountain pet Rescue was there and I was ready for a kitten. I had read the adoption process fine print before I came and had the cat carrier in the car. Very disappointed when I was told they preferred I adopt two kittens. I tried to explain that I can give one cat a most excellent home, with pet insurance and good healthcare. A loving, caring home. They would not let me adopt one kitten. No other adoption rescue has this kind of policy. It wasn't even stated in the adoption paperwork. The volunteers were relentless on the reasons to take two. I left disappointed and without a kitten. If they had stated it in the mountain Pet Rescue paperwork, I wouldn't have wasted my time with them. I have found a kitten elsewhere since then.

Staff was unfriendly, would not help me look for a pet seat. I was heading to Florida and I needed my pet to be comfortable, I explained all that to this man, and all he said if it dnt work bring it back. I am 60 yr old and disabled and they did not offer any kind of help so what ever. There prices were out of the world. They need a staff over haul. I won't be going back.

After a year of positive experiences with their grooming department, they called THE DAY OF to cancel an appointment I had made several weeks in advance (and took the day off work). They were unable to accommodate me sooner than an entire extra month of waiting. I will be trying out the Arden store from now on and possibly looking into private groomers. Unacceptable.

Went here to get a collar and a tag for my cat, and the price was good, the employees were nice and nothing bad really happened, would go again if I needed something.

My son buys crickets here for his mantis. He's only 9 and is always treated with respect and helped out. Very kind, helpful people work here.

Is there a lower grade than one star. I just had the worse experience with this PetSmart and will never shop there again, or for that matter, at any PetSmart. Im not gong to get into the whole thing as this stupid program autocorrects and misspelled my dog breed, .....so why bother. I did pay $111.00 to pick up a partially dried 105 lb. thick furred dog that now has a wet dog smell. I received bogus excuses as to why they stopped grooming her, of course it was 10 minutes until the grooming dept. was closing. No heads up, no phone call, nothing. She had to many ticks on her according to the groomer, and might have ring worms. Corporate policy dictates not to move forward. Will take her to her regular groomer next week. Only reason I was here was because she had gotten really messy falling into a dirty pond earlier this week and didn't want her to have to wait to get her cleaned up. It was a clown show of obfuscation and excuses, that kept being added on The more I questioned what was going on. Jospeh Prendergast
