If I could give negative stars I would. Casual racism is DISGUSTING. Came here with my buddy who wanted to buy some liquor, we had split up to see what they had in this store because I've only been in the Boone store. While my buddy and I were out of sight, mind you my buddy and I are both Hispanic, I hear and partially see this interaction. For review sake, if you have never been here before, you can only enter through the front door and exit past the registers in the back door. Employee (White Male): Hey you coming in? Want to come in through the back door? Customer(White Male): Haha yes I would like the back door treatment, I just got off the boat in New Orleans and this is what I want. Both employees (white males) and customers laugh hysterically. Casual racism is disgusting, the fact that the employees thought this was an okay interaction. Or to take these kinds of things as a joke, you should all be ashamed. Do not give this place any of your business.

In the 1980's...way before the Internet ... At the time, my cousin & me, two Grumpy Old Men, didn't know Blowing Rock had a beautiful ABC location since they were out on the by-pass. Never went by it. Always came into Blowing Rock on Bus. 321. Ran out of spirits one day, so we decided to go get some more...Where to go? We knew their was a ABC in Granite Falls...Drove down that dadgum hill to Granite Falls and back up that dadgum hill home. Our wives were HOT as H when we got back and we were woreout... "Where have ya'll been"? 3+ hours and 80+ miles later round trip since we were staying 12 miles down 221 towards Linville... Guess what? We know where ya'll are now... for sure!...Ya'll get 5 stars ... Great folks at this beautiful location! Had we only known ... back in the day...
