So glad we stopped in on our way out of the NC mountains! Even tho she wasn't finished setting up the store for the day, Susan was such a dear, she let me in to look at the store early! I drooled at the stunning array of rings, pendants and bracelets! I had been told earlier that day by my hubby that if I wanted a piece of jewelry for my Birthday/ Christmas present, I could choose whatever I wanted! So hard to choose, but got it narrowed down to a vintage Baume & Mercier solid gold hidden watch bracelet or a diamond necklace. I went with the bracelet, (but will probably get the necklace too). Don't hesitate to visit this gem of a store! They have so many styles and pieces that you are sure to find something perfect. The prices were unbelievable, I was expecting to pay 3 times what I did! The quality and workmanship is amazing, unlike major jewelry stores now. With gold prices these days, those stores are making their jewelry as thin and cheap as possible. Always buy quality vintage jewelry!

We visited a few days ago and enjoyed looking through the assortment of rings. Susie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even helping me to determine my ring size! Though we didn’t leave with anything this time around, I know we will be back!

The older couple working were so cute and knew so much about jewelry!! We had so much fun looking at all the beautiful rings they had! They weren't pushy at all and when they handed me a ring to try, they read me everything, carat weight appraisal and price... they had awesome deals and seriously I left dreaming about multiple rings!! Plus they were just so cute!!!

This is the worst store I have been into. If I could give it a zero I would. The manger of that establishment is rude and in caring. Helpful they are not. They are plenty of other wonderful shops out there and I would go to anyone on them before coming here. It's not surprising that before my rating it only has 3 stars. If they were giving thing away for free I wouldn't take them. Stay away. Horrible treatment and merchandise.

I stopped by to look for a birthday present for my girlfriend. Susan was very helpful and patient with me as I was wanting something special and unique. My girlfriend loved the piece. They now are my go to place for jewelry.

BUYER BEWARE!! Jim, Marlene and Susie don't tell the truth. I bought a ring from Marlene several years ago. A diamond fell out. I went to 3 jewelers that told me to take it back where I bought it. Susie told me that they didn't repair jewelry to take it to Village Jewelers. Another diamond fell out, a couple months ago, after several attempts to find them open, I went in . Jim and Marlene were there. He told me that he would take my ring to their repair man in Charlotte that weekend. I told them I was going on vacation and they said that they would meet me . I asked them the charge and he looked at Marlene and she said , Oh no charge, we will take care of it. He texted me a month later and said for me to come pick up my ring that he would not repair or reset my diamond.He had never taken it to Charlotte as he said he would. I WOULD never do business with these people. I took it back to Village Jewelers, and they are sending it to be repaired. Charlie and Joy Travis are honest people .

I purchased a ring from Marlene about 6 years ago. Two years ago a diamond fell out. I took it to 3 Jewelers who told me to take it back to where I bought it. After MANY attempts to reach them, Susie called me back and said that they didn't repair jewelry , to take it to Village Jewelers in Boone. I did and they repaired it. Two months ago another diamond fell out. After trying to catch Estate Jewelers open for about 3 weeks, I finally went in. Jim and Marlene were there. They told me that they would take it to their repair person in Charlotte that weekend. I told them that I would be going on vacation, but lived near Charlotte. They told me that they could meet me near hwy 321. I asked what the charge would be and he looked at Marlene and she said, oh no charge, we will take care of it!!!!I month later after several attempts to reach them, Jim TEXTED me and said for me to come pick up my ring he would neither repair or reset my diamond, which we had discussed doing. I will never shop there again or recommend them to anyone. They can't be trusted

We visit every year and I pick up a piece of estate jewlery with every visit. Family ran business and by far the sweetest people. They have a large variety of jewlery for every budget. Highly recommend them. See you next year guys.

Gorgeous selection of estate jewelry! This store has so many amazing pieces! I'm a huge fan of Art Deco pieces and jewelry from the 50's era and they had a sizable selection. They even had a grandfather clock that was 250 years old! The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Be sure to stop in to see Jim and Marlene if you are looking for breathtaking estate jewelry in the Blowing Rock area!
