I planned out my errands to get gifts while my son was in daycare. I arrived at 10:30 to find the shop closed. Their hours online say they open at 10am, I drove 30 minutes and didn’t have to time wait for the store to open, I had to leave to pick up my son. The shop keeper was setting up the ice cream and ignored me standing outside at first, then signed with his hands that they opened at 11. If this location changed their hours I wish they would update it on google. I hoped to get gifts but had to make other arrangements. Probably won’t come back due to not having reliable hours.

Great selection of ice cream, amazing dessert choices, and kind staff! The shop was very clean and this Tanger outlet locations has ample seating!

Chocolate chip and coconut ice cream in a cup is 370 calories worth consuming! By far one of the most delicious ice cream scoops I've had in a while. It's rich and not overly sweet. You can get it in a cup, sugar cone and a whole variety of other cones. The assortment of ice cream and sorbet is wide to satisfy anyone's taste. And if you desire a gift or a chocolate, you can get it here as well. This is a must visit place in Blowing Rock!

We typically go to the Kilwins location in downtown Blowing Rock, but we actually couldn't find reasonable parking that day.So, we ventured to try this location in the outlet mall.I couldn't go in as I didn't have a mask handy, so the ladies went in and bought our order. We ate at the seats outside the door.Great quality ice cream just like downtown. What a tasty treat!

We have been to Kilwins in Blowing Rock (in town) on our other trips and it is always cram packed. I put Kilwins in my GPS and we ended up at this location by mistake and I'm glad! The set up here is much better. Spacious. Less people. The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the servings are plentiful. One scoop is probably enough although we splurged and had two. I enjoyed the butter pecan and the chocolate fudge brownie. I also learned at this location that Kilwins is "everywhere"! I thought it was just a Blowing Rock gem. There's a fire pit outside along with lawn games, Corn Hole, Connect 4, and Checkers.

Creamy icecream great fudge that is made on site. Also lots of different kinds of candy like chocolate and white turtles chocolate covered marshmallows things like that.
