Rhoddie is a really nice bike shop! Matt fixed a brake problem on my wife's bike that other bike shops never could resolve. Bike service is fast and effective. They are a great resource for advising cycling routes in the area. If you are in the Blowing Rock area and love cycling, stop by and visit Rhoddie and Matt, the nicest bike shop owner you will find!

This is a fun shop, right along the path of hundreds of miles of great riding.Brian and the staff went out of there way to help me out with a quick Derailleur Adjustment on the fly and to set me up to demo a bike.They are very knowledgeable, warm and patient with questions.Highly recommend

How kind and knowledgeable the people are is the reason this place has a 5 star rating.My bike broke down in the middle of my ride. I brought it to them and they fixed it within minutes while I had a beer next door.

My experience with the Rhoddie Bicycle shop was amazing. I am on a weeklong cycling trip with a small group to ride the mountains surrounding Blowing Rock. I shredded my rear derailleur cable on the second day climbing Snake Mountain. I was not a happy camper that night and was worst casing about my trip possibilities. I showed up anxiously at Rhoddie first thing the next day and was immediately taken care of. Brian had to spend extra time extracting the cable and got me back on the bike that morning for my ride. The cost was way below what I expected. The shifting was perfect and Brian explained what happened and how to prevent it in the future. Two of my companions have also used Rhoddie’s with the same experience. I am definitely going back to Rhoddie in the future when I’m in the area. Cannot be beat!

My 15 year old son is fairly new to the sport of Mountain Biking. He started with an entry level bike at Christmas of 2020 and has learned all he could about bikes and riding in general. He has hunted and researched and happened to run across a GT Sensor Carbon Pro bike that Rhoddie's had just posted. He called and spoke to a staff member there and he was treated so kindly despite the fact that he was a kid. He set up a time to look at the bike for today and he and my husband were so impressed with the staff. They were patient attentive, and eager to talk with my son about the bike and the custom parts that had been added. They were encouraging and very supportive and I can guarantee you that even though it is an hour drive for us to this shop, they have gained our business from here on out!

Matt is super helpful! Can’t thank him enough for going above and beyond to help me swap out my Peloton pedals for SPDs. It was his idea since I already had indoor cycling shoes that fit and I had returned 2 pair of Look cleat shoes that were way too narrow and made my feet fall asleep. I went there for shoes, left with pedals and a demo to make sure I didn’t mess it up (which I did). He helped out further on the phone! What terrific service! So glad I picked them!

As we walked into Roddies (a warm yet cool bike shop) Brian ask how they might help. We said we’re from Charlotte, in the hills for a sanity check, and are bike shopping for my Lady. Brian looked at us and said ‘I have the bike for you’. Brian and his dad have the knowledge and ability to make anyone ‘whole and complete’ regarding bicycling.
