This is a store I will definitely patronize again when shopping in downtown Blowing Rock. The owner, Dawn, is welcoming and most helpful in offering recommendations on the variety of products she carries. Having been a specialty retailer, I recognize the attention to detail and care in helping a customer she brings to her business. It's a lot of work but she seems to enjoy it so she has my support. Thanks!

Dawn was very rude. We were going to make a purchase, but my son misunderstood when she asked if we needed help. He thought she said let me know if you need help. He said "We're fine" and was very respectful. She yelled from the stairwell, I DIDN'T ASK YOU THAT. We told her that was rude. She said my son looked at her like this .. and she made a face that made us feel she was calling him stupid. We told her we're leaving. Rather than apologize, she told us she was trying to correct my adult son. We've seen other reviews about Dawn's rudeness. We would never patronize or recommend her establishment.

The owner Dawn is very rude and thinks everyone is stealing from her. Go to Amazon and get everything she has for about half the price.

What a fun store. We love our solar flamingo light. Such a nice chat with whom I’m assuming the owner sorry didn’t get her name. Lots of things for birds and lots of garden flags. Definitely will be back.

This is the best shop in Blowing Rock!! There are all types of outdoor bird feeding accessories, illuminaries for night time, flags, bird seed...anything you could possibly think of. Prices are reasonable too! The owner, Dawn, is a gem. You'll love her and for the time being. ...wear a mask when you go in. It's just the right thing to do. Love ya Dawn❤️❤️

Great little store that has way more than bird stuff. We actually have never purchased any bird things, we have purchase the cute little No pooping signs for our yard (which really helped) we actually went back today to get more, as we had construction at our house and one of the workers ran it over. The owner is so kind and loves dogs. We have been back three times this year because they are so kind. Today we purchased the No Pooping signs, dog treats and great outdoor lights.

A little politeness goes a long way. This afternoon, while touring Blowing Rock, I walked into the store, which was full of people, many were bottlenecking by the front door as they were exiting. The moment I passed the lady behind the counter (I don't know if that was the owner or an employee), she tells me in a loud, harsh, and rude tone that, "Ya gotta wear a mask to be in here!". I was embarrassed now that everyone looked at me and I mentioned that I have asthma. She rudely and harshly says, "So do I and I wear one." I said, "Yep" and walked out. There was NO need to shame me or draw this embarrassing attention to me. She could have totally handled it differently as do employees of other stores I have been in.

This store had the most fascinating solar section that I’ve ever seen! I loved it! They had all your usual bird feeders, yard signs & garden flags. My favorite of course was the solar section, it’s so cool. She will even cut off the lights in the datytime So you can see how the moonlight makes the yard art shine! I loved this store!
