I was checking out Lowe's Boone today. Suddenly, my male cashier leaves to address a situation: a muscular person wearing a long blonde wig and big sunglasses is attempting to leave the store with a cart load of merchandise. The two engage in a struggle over the cart. I can see the cashier is distressed, so I yelled loudly and repeatedly for a Lowe's employee to come help. Several made eye contact with me but didn't come forth. It took several minutes and another customer also yelling to the customer service desk for someone to walk over. Then, the wigged person was allowed to unload the cart and leave the store. As I left, he was returning back into the store. Why did so many Lowe's employees turn their backs on the situation, does Boone Lowe's need security, and why weren't the police called?

This lowes is the most disorganized establishment that I have ever been to. We purchased a UTV from them and three hours later they still haven't found the title to transfer over to us. Then after we got a refund bc they apparently lost the titles to every UTV on the lot the refund was processed incorrectly and we were without $8000 for 3 months trying to resolve the problem. Corporate should evaluate the management staff at this location. The only reason I gave one star was because it will not let me give a zero star rating

We had to visit Lowe's today for a plumbing problem and to find some tools. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. D.L., especially went out of her way to help us find the right tools for the job that we needed to do. What a great experience!

Abby is the reason I'm taking the time to give this store a five star review. She was competent, friendly, helpful and diligent. She helped us gather our supplies from start to finish. She problem-solved an inactive card and got it activated so we could use our 5% cash back. (The app, which one of us was trying alongside her efforts, was useless.) Then she loaded our cart with twenty boxes of flooring and reloaded our car with the same flooring. ? All in all, you could not ask for a better employee. I hope you give her a significant raise at her next review. You don't want to lose this one.

I wouldn’t recommend buying your appliances from here and paying for the installation. We had a nightmare experience. We were told at last minute they wouldn’t be able to deliver after having appointment for a couple of weeks. Then the installer removed our fridge then told us the same size fridge we bought he couldn’t get it in the condo. So we were left with no fridge. Then when they delivered a smaller one two days later it had 4 chips and dents in which they offered $60 discount for. On top of that they couldn’t hook up ice maker that already had the water line ready as he said it needed a new line which made no sense. We called customer no service and was told it would be a 2 hour wait, so we elected to be called back which they never did. We had to take a trip to try to resolve. Then the dishwasher that we paid extra to have it installed by a special installer due to the water line couldn’t install as the existing water line was in the front instead of the rear. Why then did we pay for the special installation if they couldn’t install basic dishwasher, so they just left the new sitting there in the box along with the old one for us to now figure out who could install and haul off the old that we paid extra for. They are terrible and offer no help to resolve!! Do not do business with this Lowes. We felt ripped off!!

I would like to give out a huge shoutout to Daniel at the Boone NC Lowes. Such a nice polite person and was so helpful to me and my husband. I didn’t get his last name but he helped us in the plumbing department. We had no idea what we needed but he went out of his way to help us figure it out. I run a business and I know what it means to have employees that treat their customers well. I respect that young man very much. The store was clean and organized and everyone was nice and polite. A very good experience.

I tried to purchase a patio set this week. The person working on the floor looked on his computer and said there were 8 sets available in back. He told us he'd bring one out to us. An hour later he still hadn't appeared. I inquired and was told, "oh, he is at lunch." Another employee went to look and, 30 min later, told me they couldn't find the set. I then talked to a manager--because it had been almost 2 hours by this point. The manager told me that i should just order it onlline!!The customer service at this Lowes is terrible. Stay away.

Fashion Bath is embarrassing!!! I ordered a vanity to be installed, paid for someone to come out and measure. Measurements were done 2 weeks ago and I can't reach anyone in the department for a quote, ASM or a store manager. Get a grip people. The Lowes flooring department is patiently waiting on your incompetence to install $2500 of floors. The flooring department seems to be the only thing functioning at this location. STORE MANAGERS WAKE UP!!!! I have tried to reach you 8 times (more than 2 hours on hold) and no one is in the bath install department nor any manager at any level.

im giving a 3 because i been going to lowes just about ever since there was a lowes here usually i go to lowes and staff is very friendly and helpful today 3/5/23 i went to pickup some mortor and sand i asked one of the guys in the warehouse for a recovery bag to put a busted bag in he informed me he had no idea what a recovery bag was so i went to the checkout the checker didnt know either i went back in the garden cent pulled 3 off the roll and went back. i hadda bag it myself im 60 years old with a deteriating spine the guys on the lift just stood there and looked at me . anouther guy there shook his head as if to say are these guys for real. very rude warehouse {weekend} guys . there are a lot of the staff are great people. tanner is one of the nicest guys you ever wanna meet im avoiding lowes on weekends until its better staffed

They seem to be doing a little better the last few weeks. With customer service. A while back I ordered several thousand dollars worth of material for a job. I ordered it on Friday. They said I could pick it up Monday morning. I went in and waited for a hour and 15 minutes that Monday morning. While paying my help to stand there. Then they came and told me that they haven't even pulled it yet. Cost me a whole day's work . It gets old having to deal with them . They definitely could do better. They have a few people that actually know what they are doing. They can't do it all. When they help you they get it right most of the time. After doing construction work for 30 years. I have learned just to deal with it and Eat the losses. Lowes is not going to make it right no matter how much time they cost you. When you lose time because of there Negligence you just have to loose the money. Maybe if Lowes would have to start paying contractor's and there help when Lowes messed up they would Tighten up and get it right. Hey here is a idea ? Take it out of the store mangers bonus. Then I bet it would not happen near as often.

Kathy is rude, messes up orders and won't be quite long enough to explain anything. Always has excuses as to why she's messed up. Like she was out of work for 2 weeks months ago. Incompetent and hateful. This is the worst Lowe's I've been in and I work out of 9 different Lowe's.

Just Ickes up a screwdriver. It was an unusual one to fix the hardware on my frameless shower door. Lowes had the right tool at a reasonable price.
