I'd be inclined to shop there if they stop selling beta fishes or any live animals. The fish are living an impoverished existence alone in barren bowls destined to be home decor for someone.

My boyfriend and I have two pups who LOVE getting to visit this amazing shop! The owner (I’m not 100% sure but the woman who’s always there) is phenomenal at her job!! When our youngest pup had a bad accident with his paw pads, she recommended the best cream and gave us advice on how to handle the issue. His paws were feeling better two days later! I can’t recommend this place enough!!

One of our dog’s harnesses broke while we were visiting for a ski/hiking trip. Visited this store for a replacement because I would rather give my money to a local business. The selection was surprisingly good for a small store. Also picked up some unique toys while I was there and cute dog cookies. I have two 50 LB. Brittany’s.

Helped us after adopting our kitten from humain society. They have a kit you have a voucher for from humain society and they have lots of animals things and doggie cookies at front.

Great place to give your dog a bath! All the shampoo, brushes and hair dryer included. The shelf in the sink for my small dog made it easy on my back!

Thought it was some kind of glitch in the system when I saw I haven't yet posted a review of the Pet Place in Boone. I have been coming here for 5 years, to span two different dogs and many different dog and cat friends. While a little pricier than other options in the area, this pet store is stocked with items that are well vetted and understood by the owners and employees personally. Every employee can provide genuine input and assistance into any pet related needs whether it's food, treats, harnesses or clothing, toys, etc. There are many familiar faces that have stayed working here over the years, which is always a plus. I also love what they do for the community, helping police dogs and sponsoring little events, such as around the holidays where they give free treats and coupons or other items. Follow their social media to stay up to date! There is a bath you can use (I haven't used it yet but have almost needed to so many times) where they provide all the materials and do the clean up. It's on a first come first serve basis, but you can always call to gauge how busy it is. Student discounts offered only on certain days. Not best budget for broke students but the assurance I have with the quality of the items (esp food) I'm buying for my dog is worth it.

We absolutely love this place. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The dog wash has spoiled us and we will probably never bath our two dogs at home again.

The STAFF are terrific through and through, time after time, they've gone above and beyond for us. Products also ? quality.I would rate 5 stars if not for pricing, but I'm also starting to understand the value of quality, so take the 4 stars with a grain of salt ??❤️

Very friendly and helpful staff. The supplies here are much higher quality than the things you will find at the big box stores, however the prices may be slightly higher as a result (but it is worth it!).
