Ordered a cookbook described as new through Abe Books. Received a used copy with a receipt for Amazon. Obviously their mistake. I filled out a return form and boxed it to return when Mr. Campbell emailed me to hold on to it that he would send a new one. Three weeks go by and another mistake ensues lowering my expectations to the bottom of the barrel but Campbell University Bookstore came through. I received a perfect new book; a first edition. They kept their promise. I did my graduate work at UT Dallas in the 90s and Campbell Bookstore was my favorite book shop back then. So many surprising finds. So happy that it still has the magic and the personal touch these days. Thank you!

Very poor customer service. One of my (already used) books from Camel Direct was considered “damaged” and I was assessed a fee greater than the book costs in new condition. I was told the damaged book would be shipped to me; however, I never received it. I called the bookstore half a dozen times and never received a call back. When I went into the bookstore today they informed me that the book was discarded and did not offer a refund or replacement.

The bookstore never answers the phone so if you have a problem about textbooks you better just head down there. Customer service is mediocre at best.
