I bought a 2019 Maxima from their used car sales in March, Mark was the associate who helped me. The process was pretty easy but after buying the car the helpful service stops.
I took my car to another Flow in Greensboro for an oil change and tire rotation and was told the car was missing a wheel lock key. They told me I could call the Flow in Burlington and they should be able to purchase me a replacement key, since it wasn’t in the car when I bought it.
I called Flow in Burlington to see if they had the key or if they could replace it. Mike made an appointment for me, assuring me they could take care of it, switch my lugs out and even rotate my tires since it was something that couldn’t be done at my service in Greensboro.
I came up to Flow in Burlington on Labor day, hoping to get everything resolved and was told to go to a Nissan dealer down the street because they don’t have the wheel lock key, because they are a VW dealership. They didn’t seem to care that the car was purchased from their dealer and told me I would have to purchase a wheel lock key from Nissan.
To be fair, wheel lock keys aren’t overly expensive, I ended up just purchasing one on Amazon. But the face that I wasn’t informed about a missing wheel lock key when I bought the car leads me to believe that all the “service” they claim they do on used cara may not be accurate. Am I to believe the entire time they had my car sitting on their lot they didn’t rotate, check or change the tires? Because if they can’t switch out my lugs for not having a Nissan key then how did you inspect the car before?
I was given the run around and basically told to figure it out after wasting a trip to Burlington on Labor Day with bo real solution. The service here was terrible and all they care about is selling cars and getting you out the door to be someone else’s problem.
Hope this helps anyone thinking about buying a used car that isn’t a VW from them in the future.

The whole process was super stress-free and transparent. Jeremy was also very helpful and informative, and did everything in a timely manner. I will definitely buy from flow companies again.

Flow’s no haggle concept is great but it wouldn’t be worth nearly as much without the team that supports you from the time you inquire about a car until you make a decision. Especially a sales person like Shawn. He is extremely likable and provides insight to the car you are interested in without coming across as a “sales guy”. This was my son’s first car buying experience and Shawn knew the features a young driver is interested in and demonstrated how to use them real time prior to commitment to buy. He also pointed out safety features and the ease of how to use them real time. Not after the car was sold and sounding like he was going through a mandatory check list. Truly engaging and caring in a genuine way. Thank you Shawn for a great experience!!
