Calling all abeo fans!!! The Cary Towne Center location is spinning down their inventory to close soon. I was there today and their current inventory of abeo shoes, sandals & boots are marked down to $49-$79. Their abeo socks are buy one, get the 2nd for $1. Make sure they are keepers because their markdowns are final sale. I scored a really nice pair of $200 leather boots for $79. You can't even find these prices for new abeos on ebay! Unfortunately all of the Burkenstocks are full price. They said that the remaining Burks will be transferred to another store when they close. In January 2020 all of the Cary Towne Center central stores will be gone. There will be stores that can be accessed by external entrances. For now rumor has it that Belks will be staying.

This review is coped and shared over all social media sites and anywhere I can post for an amazing person (Chasity Lesure) who didn't deserve the awful, racist customer service she was given. I pray The Walking Company make better hiring decisions in the future.

First off - I hate shopping especially for shoes. Today my wife and I went to The Walking Company to buy walking shoes and I got a most pleasant surprise! Shanita and Carol made this experience a pleasure. We found just what we wanted at very reasonable prices and I actually enjoyed the shopping. This will be the first place we will look for shoes in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with Shanita this afternoon. She was warm and I welcoming. She helped me decide on a perfect shoe and gave me tons of great information. I walked in ready to buy one pair and bought two pairs of shoes. I usually buy my shoes here, but Shanita made this an extra special experience. Thank you!!

After dropping a pickle jar on my foot and breaking it, I'm came here to find a shoe I could wear. Sales associate Rodney was great showing me the various options i had. Would send anyone here for the great sales staff and selection.

Of all shoe stores I've visited, I would rate this one at the top. Not only friendly and courteous, but knowledgeable. They presented me with options at different price levels, explaining why these were appropriate and talking intelligently about other shoes I had experience with. Add a 30-day return policy, and this is a store that is hard to beat.

I went in the store and found out Lynn and Sarah no longer work at this location but there is a new employee (long brown hair) who transferred from crabtree that is just as knowledgeable she went through the whole process that I was use to I think she is the new assistant manager...wish I could say the same of the new store manager (RODNEY I think) who doesn't know his a** from his head, he is the definition of a a**hole. He has little to NO product knowledge but tries (very hard might I add) to seem like he knows what he's talking about. I will shop with anyone else from this store but you will not catch me in there when he is there. He should be fired, no questions asked. why work with the public if you're going to be rude and disrespectful to not only me but every customer he came in contact with while I was in the store. I only gave 5 stars because of the level of customer service I received from the sweet girl who helped me, I love my shoes!

Worst customer service ever! The salesman (Aylin) was irritated that I bought the shoes at Crabtree (where the salespeople were VERY nice) but returned them to the Cary store. He outright told me that, and then kept making snide comments the entire time he was doing the return. Several years ago I went into this location and had another equally rude salesman. Do they just look for the worst possible employees here?!! Needless to say, if I ever need to go to The Walking Company again, I will make the extra 5 minute drive to Crabtree.

The walking company as a chain has always been a great destination for the shoes we need, but Sarah is a star at this location. She is always helpful and knows the product. Highly recommend stopping by and seeing her.
