  Review for Express Oil Change – South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC
  
  I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience at this location. I received the worst customer service from an employee named Jon (spelled J-O-N). From the moment I arrived, he was dismissive and unprofessional. He came across as RUDE and failed to quote my estimated wait time to patch my tire. He was off 30 minutes and then, I had to wait again to replace my tire.
  
  As a customer, I expect at least basic courtesy and clear communication neither of which were present during my visit.
  
  I’ve had decent experiences at other Express Oil Change locations, but this visit was disappointing enough that I’ll think twice before returning. I hope management addresses this issue and reinforces the importance of respectful, thorough customer service with their staff.

  The service was excellent and Jeremy was very kind. He explained everything to the T and answered any questions I had. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

  Treated my wife's car like it was their own, made some recommendations on things to do going forward. The oil change was slightly discounted thanks to being a first time client, and the mechanic working on my car was a very nice guy. I'll gladly be back!
  
  UPDATE: another 5 star visit today. Checked all the lights, topped off coolant, and had me in and out in no time. Happy customer again today 😁

  I recently visited your Express Oil Change location following a recommendation from a friend. Upon arrival, I inquired about the cost and the estimated service time, and I was told it would take 15 to 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the service took far longer than expected, which caused significant frustration since I had limited time.
  
  I noticed that the staff working on my car seemed slow and lacked the necessary experience to perform the service efficiently. For instance, they were unable to reset my car after the oil change, which further delayed the process. After waiting for an extended period, I eventually left because I was both tired and disappointed by the lack of prompt service.
  
  To maintain the high standards associated with an “express” service, I strongly recommend:
  1. Additional staff training – especially on vehicle-specific procedures like resetting service indicators.
  2. Better time management and transparency. Providing realistic time estimates and keeping customers updated if delays occur.
  3. Hiring or scheduling experienced technicians during peak hours to ensure faster turnaround times.
  
  I hope my feedback will help improve the experience for future customers.

  The tech Jon was awesome he always take care of me he at 6120 south tryon I been A customer for years and I was gone go found someone cheaper but he makes sure I'm good every time happy repeat customer

  Don’t be folded there is nothing express about this place. Was told I was next up for a safety inspection….. 2 hours later and the person that does inspections goes on break.

  I want to thank Marc and John Velkey for their incredible customer service and friendly attitude when it came time to work on my daughter’s car. She had her car towed into the shop and the staff got to work on it right away. The entire staff at this shop has always been honest and very professional every time we are in here.

  Got car inspection lady said I needed windshield wipers I informed I just got the wipers. She said they had some but I was like nope I will go somewhere else because I just brought expensive wipers. I went got wipers expected and my wipers are in excellent shape.

  A car shop is not a place to look for great customer service, but don't hire people with no manners or don't know how to use funnels to put liquids into another person's car. I like supporting local business but man.
