"Very nice French Bakery. I’ve had the prime rib dip, chicken salad sandwich, and breakfast. All were very good! The croissants are excellent!!! This is my new go to brunch place!"
"First I was told to go ahead to the front if I wasn't ordering salad. Then I was told to go to the back of the line. Then when I got to the salad line she told me to go to the register. Apparently there on employees don't know how the line works."
"So glad to find la Madeleine! I love their French Country Breakfast (served all day)! Lovely and cozy setting, great desserts."
"It appears that what once was Mimi's is now Madeline's, taking a more cafeteria approach to American/French fare. Food was serviceable and the $5 mimosas almost made up for the multiple times we returned filthy glassware and receiving the wrong order.
Management was friendly but I doubt we'll return. Good decor and perhaps good for a quick bite or takeout."
"This place is the literal worst. We get there right at 12 o'clock, it's starting to get busy. We get in line to order and tell the girl making the salads that we want to place a to go order. She said she can't help us and we have to go to the to go order takeout line. So we get out of line and go to that to-go order register, and nobody helps us. We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and nobody helped us. We finally just decided to order a take out order on their website and it says it'll be ready at 1230. During this 20 minute time frame of waiting in line and trying to order online, about 12 people got to get in line in front of us for their food. The food is ready around 12:30, mine came out right at 12:30 but my friend had to wait about another 10 minutes for hers. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with no mayo and a Caesar salad.
Let's start with the sandwich. I ordered no mayonnaise, and once again, I was forced to order it online, so the order very clearly said no mayonnaise. It was covered in Mayonaise. I didn't complain because I just wanted to get out of there. The chicken was literally that precooked chicken you buy at the store to keep in your fridge for salads. The bun was hard as a rock and you couldn't bite through it. The sandwich was literally inedible.
The salad LOOKED okay but the "ceasar" dressing was not ceasar. It wasn't anything I recognized. So the salad was also inedible. So I spent $10 to sit at a horrible restaurant for an hour and eat nothing. Cool."
