Great Clips is not my fav place to bring the kids for hair cut but Ana (at this location) was great! Really took her time giving my son a haircut and she did a great job!

One star because zero isn’t a option
If you’re ever in the mood to have your confidence obliterated and your hairline disrespected beyond repair, then by all means — stroll into Great Clips at Afton Ridge.
I walked in with hair. I walked out with trauma.
The stylist (and I use that term very loosely) took the clippers to my head like she was mowing a lawn blindfolded and backward. Uneven? Oh, it’s uneven alright — my left side looks like it’s still in 2025, the right side is somewhere around 1998. I don’t know what kind of beef she had with my scalp, but she took it personal. This wasn’t a haircut. This was a hit job.
I asked for a trim. She delivered a buzzsaw massacre. The back of my head looks like someone practiced etching crop circles into it. And don’t get me started on the “blending” — there was none. It’s like she gave up halfway through and said, “Eh, good enough.” Lady, it’s not abstract art, it’s my damn head.
Save yourself the pain. Go anywhere else. Cut your own hair in the dark with safety scissors. You’ll probably do better than what they did to me.

Great staff! Never any issues with my haircut. Sometimes a little bit of a wait but if you use the wait list correctly you can get in and out without a long wait.

The only concern I have is I thought haircuts were $14.99. I mentioned it to the stylist, however I was charged $20. I had forgotten about it until I got home.

Requested style: I ask for about 4" across the back to be trimmed even with the sides. A dry trim will be fine. It was like talking to a deaf person. I agreed for her to dampen. Then she brushed the teasing and started to part on the middle. I stopped her and said. I put two parts and comb that back. That is the part that is too long and needs to be trimmed. "No I do a balanced cut. Then she parted it in the middle and cut it like she wanted. I am very unhappy!!!!!

I’ve come to this Great Clips a handful of times since my wife and I moved to Concord and have always gotten a good cut and today in particular I had to leave a review because Chloe took super good care of me, was very friendly, and gave me a great haircut in advance of my birthday and Independence Day coming up this week. My stylist was very friendly and efficient. We carried on a light discussion while she performed her magic. In no time my hair cut and my beard trim was completed. I have been a customer at this shop for a number of years and do not even think of going anywhere else, thanks to your dedicated employees.

Was in a pinch and needed a touch up, every salon in the area was packed and I remember going to great clips as a child, but have not been as an adult, the stylist I had was incredibly quick and talented, ended up taking my son back and will most definitely return for my next haircut if she is available again, can not remember her name to save my life, it was a very eventful and hectic day
