This gas stations pumps are the slowest. It literally pumps 1gal per minute. I paid for 20gallons and Ive been sitting here forever waiting on this slow pump. Don't come here if you're time sensitive.

This hole in the wall proves the point that the best barbeque comes from small businesses with talented people. Tresa, you gave me some of the best brisket I have had! I live 40 minutes away but I'll be back!

We both had the chopped pork platter; she had Brunswick Stew & fried okra. I had Cole Slaw & collards. Understand that we are relocated Ohioans, but we appreciate good NC food. All was excellent, we highly recommend. The collards were exceptionally good. Plenty of food, we are more than satisfied. Peach cobbler was also excellent.

Really great-tasting, pit-smoked BBQ, Brisket, Flounder, and chicken. Home-cooked collards and fried okra are a real plus. Family-owned and minority owned.

Ladies were extremely friendly and helpful. I had the ribs which were OK. Hush puppies, brunswick stew etc were delicious. I will absolutely be back to try the fried chicken.

Yum, yum! Customer service was real friendly. The Brunswick stew and collards soooo good. The chef told me she cooks collards for 3 hours---and they are dee-lish. I'm going back and trying the Mac and cheese!

Update 10/5/2020 The first go around with four points was nothing to write home about (unflavored wings, missing bbq, bland macncheese, poor customer service), but that was early and i knew i would want to try them again when they had some time to figure things out. Based on our most recent experience, they have it mostly figured out. The staff was very friendly througout the experience, reccomending options and selling their products well. The menu had been updated to include new wing flavors and special homemade desserts. The chopped BBQ we had was very moist and had a nice smokey flavor with the great NC sauce. The mac n cheese was much better than last time, it did seem to be lacking a little something, either creaminess or some sort of flavor, but it was definitely good. The hushpuppies were fantastic as always and the wife enjoyed the potato salad saying it was 3-4 stars. The homemade cheesecake was very delicious and if you are looking to indulge, i'd recommend it highly! All in all, I am happy we now have a top notch bbq place close to home and am happy to be able to come back and write a new review considering all the lowlights so far this year.

Great service from this new business- and high quality BBQ- nothing like the prior restaurant at this location...hush puppies are best ever and collards are perfect...homemade desserts every day- we treated ourselves to banana pudding and bread pudding- such good food!! You gotta try it!

Just stopped in for the first time and everything we ordered was delicious. Although I was surprised to find this unsuspecting joint connected to a gas station, you can smell the amazing food as soon as you open the door. The portions are generous, the pork is tender, and the hush puppies were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What more could you want from a bbq joint? Peach cobbler and banana pudding, they've got that too, both were amazing. And not sure what happened in the previous reviewers case, but I found the Mac and cheese to be dense and creamy. Everything we had was great, and to top it all off the two employees were quick and kind. They also had a large sneeze guard separating customers from the kitchen. Can't wait to go back and try the breakfest!

I ordered biscuits and gravy, and got gravy on a HAMBURGER BUN! Very disappointed! We have ordered lunch and the bbq is good, recommend the restaurant, however I am disappointed in the breakfast.
