I followed the Modern Classic Motorcars website for a few months and decided to take a look in person. I had been searching the sites for 911s for the past few months, but wasn't really ready to get serious. Paul Baio, the owner, could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I asked if I could test drive a 2006 911 Cab he had, though I really wasn't ready buy for at least 6 months. He very graciously let me take it for a test drive and I was hooked. We sat in his office and chatted afterwards and I really enjoyed talking to him. I showed him what I was looking for (2007 white Carrera S Cab with sand beige interior), He asked me where I had seen it and when I told him, he let me know he had just bought that exact car. Once he got the car and posted beautiful new pictures, I drove back up from GA the next week, test drove it, fell in love, and started the purchase process. He and Emily (his wife and business mgr) could not have been nicer and the whole process was an absolute pleasure. It took me a week to get all the insurance and funds together and they were very patient and stayed in touch the whole time. This is what the experience of purchasing a sports car - in this case my dream 911 - at the age of 71 should be - it made regaining my youth a bit a total blast. They were extremely responsive throughout the whole process and had already put 4 new performance tires on, repaired upholstery on one of the back seats, and gone through the entire car. After the purchase was complete, they delivered the car to Apex Filmwerks to be wrapped in the front (wonderful job) and had a compete service and inspection performed. I highly recommend Paul and Emily Baio and Modern Classic Motorcars in Durham, you won’t ever regret doing business with them.

I highly recommend Modern Classic Motorcars! During a very busy time of my life, Paul & Emily were a godsend to me in selling my 1967 Corvette! They took care of everything, from getting the vehicle serviced, transporting the vehicle safely, even meeting me at the DMV to update the title. Paul marketed my car well, communicated almost daily with me, and got me a very fair price. Paul & Emily are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and also incredibly nice people! I would recommend anyone with a need to buy or sell a special vehicle to look nowhere else than MCM!

Fantastic experience working with Paul to find and purchase our first premium sports car. Start to finish it was a professional and first class experience, from the early phone calls where I was exploring all the car's details, the market, pricing, forward looking thoughts about the value of the car as time goes on etc. He also accommodated an impromptu visit over a weekend to see and drive the car. On the back end of the sale he helped us arrange getting PPF film applied to the car, and white glove delivery of the car to our home. Add to that several follow up calls after the sale to check in and see how we were enjoying the car were very genuine. Highly recommend Paul and Modern Classic Motorcars for a first class bespoke experience.

Recently, I was searching for a collector grade 2007 Shelby GT and found that MCM had one for sale. I phoned Paul who was very helpful and upon arriving at the dealership, I found the car was exactly as he described. Paul and Emily were great to work with and made the purchasing process efficient and easy. I took delivery of the car the next day! Until this purchase, I was unaware of MCM but am certainly glad that I found them. Their showroom is spotless and full of like-new collector, classic and performance cars. I highly recommend Paul, Emily and the MCM team to anyone looking for that special, hard-to-find car!

I purchased a 2019 Corvette Z51 Stingray from Paul at Modern Classic Motorcars. The car was in pristine condition with only 1900 miles and arrived exactly as Paul had described. The entire process was easy and quick and Paul was a pleasure to work with! He really knows his business and clearly is very selective about the cars that he acquires for his customers. Paul was responsive, professional and basically took care of everything! I would not hesitate to recommend MCM if you are looking for a very clean, low mileage sports car or other vehicle to buy. Check out their inventory as they always have some great cars on their website!

Bought 2019 bullit mustang from Modern Classic Motorcars. Paul took time to go over the car and options with me and my wife. They have a very nice collection of cars and he is very knowledgeable about cars. The whole transaction from start to finish was very professional and no issues.
