Only one star because we can't give ZERO. Stopped in on our way to the beach for late lunch and to use restroom. Restrooms were locked. Waited to the end of our meal and tried again. (Never seeing anyone going out.) Saw another patron and finally asked someone why the door was locked. They unlocked and let her in. When she came out, I went to use and it was locked again!I asked the staff to unlock the door and they said "bathroom must be broken." When I told them it was NOT and that someone had just used it, they then said that only the manager had the key and she had just left for the day. Oh yes, and suggested I could go to the Taco Bell next door to use a restroom.I then asked, well, what if any STAFF has to go? There was a FULL restaurant full of employees! Dead stare. Not only will I NEVER to to this Wendy's - it honestly put me off about the whole chain.P.S. - No working restrooms are NCDOL violations. Hope they get fined or shut down. Wendy's of Hampstead, you suck.

They have been forgetting multiple items in each order for months now…This place used to be good. Now we just end up missing $10 worth of food on larger orders.

The servers all seemed to be in a bad mood from the start while ordering in the drive thru. They also seemed bothered I asked for a receipt which they had to change out the paper roll for and it didn’t print well so I couldn’t do the actual survey. My soda tasted weird like there were some kind of chemicals or something in it and half the food was spilled inside the bag.

This place is a good place to go to. I got the triple bacon burger, a large fries and a large drink. It was all good. The cashier was great. My food was hot. The fries were hot and salty which I love salty fries.Parking: It’s around the building and has an outer perimeter parking.Kid-friendliness: It has a kids meal which is good.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m not wheelchair bound but someone who is can get in and out with a wheelchair and move around.

My sister went in to take my four year old nephew to use the bathroom and the was locked. None of the staff preceded to unlock the door for a child to use the restroom. She then had to walk across to the dollar tree in the cold.

I went through y drive thru and ordered chili I didn't get a spoon to eat with or a straw I got chili and crackers and napkins so I had to take it home and reheat it

Used to love coming here as I frequent often traveling to Wilmington. However poor experience received twice in a row, they must have new workers.I came a week ago and left my wallet at home. So I called my husband to get the card to use over the phone while at the window. Mind you my meal was $6 and change. The manager came to the window and said she couldn't take the card bc I don't have any ID.1)the meal is $6 ma'am and you are worried about a card being stolen? (2) I come here all the time and you never ID me when using a credit card. Y'all swipe it no problem, no questions asked but when I tell you about my extenuating circumstance, you can't use a card for a $6 meal?Came back today with husband, leaving an appt. Did a mobile order. Got our food fast but it wasn't good at all. Burger wasn't hot, when you open the package all the ingredients were just thrown on there, extremely sloppy and it tasted just okay. My peppermint cold brew coffee was nasty so I went inside to get it switched. The dude at the counter just looks at me (no hi, how can I help you?) so I just told him I needed my drink switched out, he still doesn't speak to me but immediately calls over to the manager.She comes over and ask what I need, no smile just strait faced and seemingly annoyed I was there. She fixes my drink and says here you go.The customer service is horrible, but I'm grateful she did switch the drink. Got to the car and hubby tells me his food wasn't that good, and I wholeheartedly agreed.Such a disappointment from a store that we used to always enjoy eating at. it's 11/29/23 about 3:15pm.

This used to be the best Wendy's I am here 4 of 7 days a week. But the last several times I have been treated poorly. Last time I ordered mobile, the employee named Brandon stared at me and didn't say a word. I just canceled my order and left. I don't like to leave negative reviews but after this moment of wasting 10 minutes of my time, I've decided it best to go to a different restaurant from now on past experiences, there's a woman who had her arm in a sling. That was very short with me when ordering a cheeseburger it makes it really hard to wanna come back to this business when the employees do not care about the customers, I tend to order mobile to make life easier for the employees, but they do not seem to care about their jobs at this location anymore. I hope they decide to bring back the old crew. The ones that had smiles on their faces cared about your food and cared about your business. This new round of employees. It's just trash.

Showed up for lunch around 1:30pm. Sign on the door clearly states the dining room is open. All of the doors are locked. no sign, nothing. The restaurant is also not answering their phone. Several customers walked up, and left as a result. A very poor experience. At the very least, put a sign on the door explaining why the restaurant is locked. The drive thru is open, however. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Consistently terrible. I've gotten the correct order maybe once in three years. The poor kids working there seem confused and not trained at all. Yeah they can have attitudes but who can blame them when nothing ever works and they seemingly have no leadership? Skip it. Go anywhere else.
