I worked with All American Tree Service back in either July or August. I originally picked them because Mike seemed like such a nice guy and I am not confrontational, so I need people around me who are kind. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but I felt like he'd get the job done and he did. There were some delays from rain, but that was understandable. They did a great job with what they were hired to do - which was removing three trees and an old fence from my backyard. (Hence the three stars instead of one). My issue is with the follow up.
One of the representatives of the company (I believe I was told it was Mike's son) kicked down an ornamental tree that I planted when I bought the home. I was told it was not intentional as he didn't know it was a tree I was keeping. I was told multiple times that this would be remedied. I asked for $50 to be refunded so I could go buy a replacement tree as I wanted to pick my own tree. That seemed fair because the entire job was upwards of $6,000 (I don't remember the exact figure but I can look it up). I was constantly told "no" because they insisted on replacing the tree themselves - which never happened. They never replaced the tree, nor made any attempt to fix what happened. The last email communication that I had was me asking one more time if I could have a refund to go buy my own tree, and the owner (Mike) stating that he told me he was going to replace the tree himself.
The second issue (and possibly larger issue) was that one of the machine operators hit the side of the roof (I don't know what that part of the roof is called) but it damaged it. When I called to point this out to the receptionist (I think her name was Lynne?) she was apologetic and it wasn't confrontational in the slightest. It was a very calm phone call. Almost thirty minutes later I got the loudest, meanest call from Mike about how he "didn't hit my damn house", and he just screamed at me for two minutes without giving me a chance to get a word in edgewise. It was so uncalled for because there was nothing that happened before this that would have invited a response like that. It was just a simple fact and the damage wasn't HUGE, it was just needing to be fixed. In any case, we sent pictures of the damage to Mike along with photos of paint matching the machinery in the hole in order to prove that it was in fact the machine that hit it. He sent us an email stating that he would fix that hole. It has been almost seven months. Now there is further damage to the hole.
It's unfortunate because we fully intended to hire them to come back to take down more trees, which they did a great job of! But I don't like being screamed at (about anything) much less by a grown man when I was just calling to point out an error. I don't know if he was just having a bad day or what the deal was, because up until then Mike and his team were the sweetest people. It was really upsetting. We have since hired another company to finish the yard and they also did a great job.
If they ever fix the issues then I will update this review.

Mike removed the trees off of our house from the Hurricane Helene. We have used All American Tree Service several times and have always been happy with the service.

Mike gave me his personal promise to find a way to remove the trees that had my husband and I trapped in our house. With the city roads blocked to our house, All American Tree Service cleared city roads to carve a path to come rescue us.

Did an excellent job removing a tree from my roof. Used heavy equipment to lift the free and prevent further damage. Moved the trunk out of the way to be removed at a later time.

I hired American Tree Service to cut down some trees on my property, and while they did an acceptable job with that portion, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The owner, Mike, and his team caused significant damage to my property, and the way Mike handled the situation was unprofessional and frustrating.
The problem started when they offered my wife some mulch, then proceeded to dump over 10 yards of mulch (a full dump truck load) directly onto my driveway. The load was dumped so close to my garage door that it caused the door to buckle in. How do I know it was caused by them? I had just gotten the garage doors painted a few days prior, and there was no damage until after their visit.
The biggest issue, however, was Mike’s response to the damage. When I brought the issue to his attention, he immediately became tough and intimidating. He asked me to get repair quotes, which I did from three different companies and sent over to him. Instead of resolving the matter, he dragged it on for months. Countless phone calls, back-and-forth emails, and a lot of frustration later, I had to get an attorney involved just to try to get a resolution.
After dealing with months of stalling and excuses, I eventually decided it wasn’t worth my time to continue interacting with Mike or his company. Not only did they leave tree stumps, chippings, and debris behind, but they also left behind the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered.
If you want the job done, Mike and his team might get it done, but be prepared for poor follow-up, unresolved damage, and a lack of responsibility. While they were paid in full and made whole on their end, I’m left with a damaged garage door and an unpleasant experience.
There are better companies out there that value their customers and handle problems with integrity. Proceed with caution if you decide to work with American Tree Service.

Absolutely fantastic service! Mike came out, looked at my trees, made suggestions of what needed to be done first. He prioritized the work, then gave me a quote.
His crew came out earlier than expected and did a fantastic job. Every single Employee was so friendly and cautious of my house and my fence line. The property is so clean after they left, they did not leave anything behind. I couldn’t be any happier with the service.
I am planning on using them again to clean my trees in stages of affordability. I highly recommend this company.

Honest, fair, and trustworthy! It's rare to find a contractor that comes with all of these characteristics, especially when you live in a community that is frequently taken advantage of because of its name and location. The owner of All American Tree Service showed up to my house and provided a "reasonable" estimate. He arrived on time, which was refreshing, and completed the job in short order. He removed three giant pine tree (120+ feet). I had a couple other small jobs that he agreed to help me with for a reasonable price. I don't often write reviews, but Michaels keen sense of responsibility, professionalism and kindness compelled me to share my experience.

We found All American to be very reliable and thorough. They did a nice job protecting our landscaping as they took down some very large trees. Also did a nice job cleaning up the debris from the fallen trees! We would highly recommend this company for tree work!

All American Tree Service quickly responded to my call. Huge fallen pine was remove in one day. Clean up was unbelievable. I highly recommend them and will be calling on them again. Thanks guys for the excellent service and job well done. 😀😀😀

We used them earlier this year to remove a couple of very large trees and numerous smaller ones. Mike and his crew did an awesome job. They worked around our schedule and even came early to take down one partially dead tree. I will definitely call them the next time and highly recommend this company..
