I had to cancel my account with Telco recently after suffering from fraudulent charge after fraudulent charge. The customer service I received on the phone with the main Telco branch was on-par, and whatever issue I was experiencing was resolved quickly, without hassle, and the representatives I spoke to were refreshingly friendly and personable. However, whenever I had to visit any of the banks in-person, I was met with some of the most unprofessional tellers I have ever encountered, and this happened at both the Tunnel Rd Telco and the 4 Seasons Telco branches. They were rude, so quiet I could hardly hear them, didn't have a straight answer to my questions, and much much more. I miss the amazing bank you used to be, Telco!

Excessive automation! Ultra slow/non responsive to inquiries/potential fund deposits. Expression of non customer oriented.

Would not reccomend! Workers are moved from place to place so no familiar faces, lowest paying credit union in town so employees dont care about their jobs. Really needs to hire a new CEO and upper level management.

This credit union has amazing service. The women here are so genuinely kind and professional. They’re always able to help in a timely manner and they go above and beyond. Proud to have this as my bank!

The employees are Amazing!!!?María, Mackenzie, Norma, and Christine are the best tellers I’ve ever encountered in a long time. Keep up the great work.Super glad they got a new ATM machine.

Today I went to open an account at this branch and had the worse experience. The lady helping me repeatedly called me the wrong name after I proceeded to correct her each time. She simply ignored me, continuing to ask her questions and receive my answers. When I came to the counter, and corrected her for the third time, she never apologized for this mishap yet she decided to make fun of the situation with her coworkers by saying, “She won’t leave us a good review because I pronounce her name wrong.” as if it was a minor mistake. They proceeded to laugh in my face. As a black woman, someone repeatedly ignoring you correcting their pronunciation of your name is very disrespectful and invalidating. I think the service at this branch was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I was quite uncomfortable during the process, so I do not plan to return. Learn to be nicer to your black customers and maybe you’ll get a good review from them.

Impossible to get on the phone. Horrific online portal. Just not worth it... There is a reason most people stick to larger or online banks. Credit Unions just cant service clients.

I opened an account with Telco and this was the best and most convenient experience. All employees were incredibly helpful, professional and polite. I want to say a special thank you to Maria Alvarez for opening the account! Thank you Telco!! All of y’all were amazing!!

Was my first bank to ever bank with. I’ve held this account for several years and I plan to close my account with them. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone when you need help. Over the past couple of years I’ve used this account strictly for shopping online and to make payments. You have to watch your account. Money not spent seems to disappear. It has been a headache having to add more money because somehow the balance shown in the app and online are to separate things. I was almost late on a bill. I called and asked why I was charged a $25 over draft fee whenever I had the funds in my account. They said they’d refund me the money but only refunded $20 so I had to add more money anyway.

Maria Alvarez deserves my highest praise for her stellar efforts and service. She promptly, deftly, and professionally handled my loan with kindness, courtesy, and compassion. I cannot say enough for her, and the entire staff, at Telco in Hendersonville, NC. I would not hesitate to recommend that you bank with Telco.

Manali was extremely helpful with an issue that I needed help with yesterday. She listened to my problem and explained several ways to solve it and all with a cheerful positive disposition. She is a wonderful example of how to provide excellent customer service.I am concerned that Telco will lose her and other excellent employees if they don't hire more people. It seems like the Hendersonville branch is understaffed which may effect moral and ultimately cause the good people to leave.Kudos to Manali for being so helpful.

We had recently joined Telco with great expectations. We have not been disappointed. Customer service has been fantastic. Today we went in to apply for a loan at the Hendersonville branch. Maria Alvarez was our loan officer. She listened to what we were wanting to do. She gave us information we needed and started our loan. We walked out with exactly what we needed. She was awesome and I believe she exceeded all expectations of excellent customer service.

There is none better than Maria and her team! Professional, helpful and responsive are just a few of the many great things that can be said about this well-run branch of Telco. Telco has handled my home loan and numerous car loans over the years as well as our checking and savings accounts. The Telco branch in Hendersonville understands the value of the relationship and has earned my business for many years to come. Thanks to you all for the great service !

Magali Perales is by far the most helpful Loan Officer that I have every worked with. From the first moment of speaking with her on the phone she immediately made me feel at ease with my questions. After meeting her in person and going through several loan processes I knew I was in good hands. She was honest and extremely helpful. I will always go through Magali for my future loan endeavors.

Maria is great!!. She is very diligent, and always gets back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good place to do your banking.
