Very nice state park, the staff have all been friendly. The park is well maintained as well are the facilities. The campground was kept nice and I can’t wait to come back again!

This is a hidden gem! Great walking trails. Great little trail with fun activities for kids (stroller friendly too). They have a jr. rancher program where kids can earn a badge for answering questions along the way, so a great learning experience too. Really nice ranger. They also have a wonderful little museum. Highly recommend this park. Oh, and they have a some picnic tables too! Great stop for meeting people for lunch. Clean restrooms too!

Second time here in the last month and the beauty & charm hasn’t faded. This park is a hidden, remote gem of a place! Beautiful, well-maintained hiking & mountain biking trails. Amazing facilities at the campground. New bathhouses & cabins make camping a breeze. I love a tent and sleeping bag too but, the new cabins are a treat!
Our campground host, Jupiter, was awesome! Great at communicating and keeping the campground nest & clean. She was very understanding and helpful!
Will definitely be back to Medoc Mtn to enjoy the trails and maybe some fishing too!

Interpretive center in main off Nicely done. MTN Bike trails fun and manageable loops. Could present something about springs and stream water quality and seasonal flow. And history of dam and land tenure...

I spoke with a representative three times on the phone. He was more than helpful. When I arrived at the park to see the cabin, the same gentleman I spoke with on the phone, mysteriously couldn’t log into the reservation site. He had previously logged in to tell me what sites were available. A lady then came to assist me. She immediately told me no alcohol was allowed on the premises. She also stated if anyone with me had alcohol, we would all be asked to leave the site. Once in the cabin the sign on the wall states alcohol must remain on the site for which you have a reservation. I will not be reserving at this location since my brown skin appears to pose a problem for the office staff.

A beautiful State Park with lots of hiking, biking, and horse trails. Plenty of picnic areas and a recently renovated camping area.

Most of the park is currently closed. Visitor center is open, but all of the camping and picnic areas are closed off.
