I can’t say enough good things about this business. Brad and Jaimee are awesome to work with. They’ve done general maintenance for me as well as storage during the offseason. They are the type of business that will go above and beyond to help anyone out. Their knowledge of everything pertaining to boats is top notch and their prices are fair. Highly recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance

A couple of weeks ago a bearing went out on my boat trailer, I was having to fix it in the parking lot and the folks from Lake Lure Marine saw me and stopped by to check on me and offer some tips. Even though they were very busy they took time out of their schedule to try and help me out. They also came back later and checked on me as they were transferring boats to and from the lake. Even though they technically did not work on my boat they were super helpful, and offered for me to bring the boat by their shop if I could not fix it on my own. I always remember stuff like this and appreciate their help.

I have been using Lake Lure Marine since 2015. They have always done great service on my boat, answered all of my questions (First time boat owner) and delivered on time. I recommend them to everyone in the Lake Lure area. You will not be disappointed.

I have a 2004 model boat and therefore requires a little love here and there. Lake Lure Marine winterized and wrapped my boat last year, and stored it. They have also made some repairs this season. There was an issue July 4th weekend. Boat wouldn't start. Brad came to the boat launch and was able to get the boat running for the holiday weekend. I think Brad and Jaimee have been around boats for a long time. Brad has uncovered and corrected issues on my boat from previous work that was not done right. They are also very easy to work with. I'm thankful to have them as a resource to use for my boat at Lake Lure.

My wife and I purchased a used pontoon boat. Yeah, I know that is a recipe for disaster sometimes, but , felt pretty good when the gentleman who we were purchasing the boat from had it inspected by this shop and was declared good to go. We took the boat out the following weekend and it ran great for an hour and started to bog down , then to experience the embarrassing trip of being towed back to the dock.. while other boaters flew by.... took the boat back to the same shop, told them what had happened about the motor bogging down and finally stopping. They replaced several different parts and a cool $308 later the boat declared ready to go once again. Took the boat back out the following weekend, this time with special friends to spend the entire day on the lake. Motor ran for another may an hour or so, same thing, getting bogged down, restart run for a minute, bogged down. Then again the embarrassing trip of being towed back across the lake. pack up and go home. Took the boat back again, was told that there was water in the gas, mixture was 2 parts water to 1 part gas. Was told that the gas cap was not sealing and that you could see thru the cap. Just went to get the boat, was show the gas cap and how you could see thru it and that was where the water was coming in. when the boat was dropped off there was a plastic cap on top of the gauge, yes it was yellowed and hard to see thru, this was a used boat. But that cover to the gauge was gone and was the culprit of the water in the fuel. Interesting enough was that the fuel gauge never increased in recording the fuel level, if there was that much water getting into the tank , the tank should be full not registering half empty. Fortunately they didn't charge for this trip. Will have to find some other way to get the boat fixed. Maybe there is something to the truth of the happiest days of a boaters life, that of the first day they buy the boat, and the day they sell the boat. geez.
