Unfortunately my wife's alternator went out today so through my insurance East Coast towed our car to our house. The guy I spoke on the phone with was absolutely great and It was his brother who towed our car he also was absolutely great to deal with. These guy are very professional and if something ever happens again I will definitely request them. Thank you again for all the help. Chris.

This company was called by my insurance company for a tire change if possible and tow up the street if not. The owner showed up quickly and seemed to be a nice elderly man. He was extremely chatty, telling us he was 72 with 3 sons and all equally owned the business. I commented on his front License plate cover that said I’d rather be fishing and explained how my family and I were avid fishing folks as well. My pickup truck had the spare under it and he was not able nor did he attempt to retrieve it. I remembered the air compressor in the truck and he attached it to my tire to fill enough to drive it up the road to the dealership. As my 27 year old daughter and I stood there, this old white man “joked” that our license plate was missing a K…because the first two letters were KK. For the record I and my daughter are of african descent by way of indigenous blood here in these americas for over two hundred years and there are no records of “slavery” in my lineage. Why he felt comfortable in 2024 in UNION COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA to make his little quip is beyond me. No way would I feel safe sending this company and their band of bigots to help any person but particularly people of melanated brown skin. I’m a native Californian and it’s still so disheartening coming into contact with southern racism. It’s so old and tired, much like that man. Please do not use this company, you’d only be helping to finance his ignorance.
Update: I called the business customer service to make them aware of the incident in the hopes that the younger non racist family members and workers know what happened and how damaging his behavior can be for the business. The man who took the call then asked me, “Why would you want to hurt the business?” When I mentioned I had left a review. As if I have no right to speak out and tell what happened. I asked him how would he feel if his wife and daughter were subjected to that kind of verbal violence. He said he would call the company first, implying I should have called them to get their reaction before posting a review. He actually said that. That is a crazy assertion to make to someone with this kind of complaint. We literally stood there hoping the car could be driven because we didn’t feel safe getting into his truck. It’s this kind of negative response to legitimate criticism that lets me know I did the right thing and everyone should tell of their real experiences with these companies. That’s what the reviews are for??♀️

I got a flat tire while still 100 miles from home and East Coast saved the day! They came out and put my "donut" on then led me to a tire shop to see about getting my tire patched. East Coast would not leave until he knew my tire was patched, the tire was put back on, and I was on my way home. He went above and beyond and I am so grateful! I highly recommend using East Coast Auto Transport & Hauling.

The gentleman that came out to help me was amazing. He was very sweet, even in the heat and all he made sure I was okay and he helped me get my jeep started, even though he lost a tow by helping me start my jeep. This man helped without any remorse and he made sure my jeep remained running before he left. If I could have gave him a 1000 stars I would have. Thank you sir, you truly were a blessing in disguise today.

Super friendly driver. Showed up on time on short notice with no hassle at all. Enjoyed the tracking system they use so I could make sure to show up at the right time. Definitely use these guys if you need a tow!

I had a rough morning and day with my car and Geico insurance put me in touch with East Coast to get towed. Once they were assigned to my request, they were in constant communication with me, transparent with their timing and payment needs, and the driver stayed and chatted with me while he loaded up my car and past that while I waited for someone to pick me up. They went above and beyond and made my stressful day and tow experience the best that it could be. Thank you !
