I came in here to potentially purchase a firearm, guy wasn’t really helpful at all. I bought my girlfriend with me and he had the audacity to ask me do you typically man handle your girlfriend like that as we like to play around from time to time. I’m a nice guy and didn’t give no reaction to his dumb question, but that is not something you ask anyone as it isn’t any of your business. You ask the wrong person that and I’m sure it won’t go well. Going forward learn how to mind yours

Didn’t have what we were looking for, but found some things we couldn’t live without. Staff was helpful out on the floor and polite at the Registers. Store was clean and well organized.

Very pricey, but very organized and clean. No empty shelves like most places now and days. Everything appeared to be in stock. Friendly team members as well, and they were quick to open up new registers to keep lines moving quickly. I got everything I needed for my day of fishing.

I wish they had more local NC teams jerseys and clothing. Everytime I am looking for something they never seem to have it. I did go here this time just for a yoga mat and was able to be in and out fairly quick

I take complete ownership that I lost my receipt, but I asked ahead, and they said they would exchange , I live 21/2 hrs away. I got there, and they told me to go ahead and pick out my purchase it was 40.00 more, which I knew and was OK with. I got to registe, and they only wanted to give me half of what I pd for the first item. That's pretty poor customer service.

Never in my life have I experienced such bad customer service and that is saying a lot. The unprofessionalism of the staff at this store is truly remarkable. I ordered online for pickup at this location, which per online said it would be ready in 2 hours. 4 hours later I called the store to inquire about my order and they told me it was ready to come in and get it. I show up at the store to pick it up going to customer service where they rudly tell me to wait. Then they can't locate my order. I had to wait around for 20 minutes during which time I hear Colin, Adam and his teammates proceed to talk smack about every customer they serve. Then he just walks off. I asked to speak with a manager to which the responce I got was they are in the back looking for your order. I will never shop at this store or any Academy sports again.

10/31/22 Monday..JAIDA in shoe dept. Was Most helpful today. Helped us with understand the difference between the Brooks shoes. Gave us her opinion and experience wearing the brand, was very helpful, THX ?Guy at gun counter has zero customer service skills. Today is 02/03/22 @ 1:10pm. Im looking at guns in the glass case, another guy is as well. The clerk is behind the glass counter, and was closer to the other customer. He ask the guy if needed any help, guys says no im just looking. Clerk walks away not towards me. Other customer leaves, then after about 3-4minutes as i still browse, he asked if I'm ok.....Nah, he didn't overlook me, im 6'3", 265lbs, plus i had chatter from the work radio, . If he didn't see me he surely heard 10 codes being called out, which should have gotten his attention.....
