Our mail carrier, Katelyn (spelling?), is great. She's efficient and friendly.The supervisor, Meredith, is just a condescending rude person that doesn't belong in management.

Lazy, lazy, lazy. USPS regulations says you must deliver if house is within 1/2 mile. It’s a small community and we are all just up the road 2 blocks. They don’t even try. Why load up packages if you know you won’t even attempt to SIMPLY DROP THEM AT THE DOOR?How do they get away with doing this? Hire people who aren’t lazy or get more people if resources are an issue.Why is nothing done Murphy Postmaster? Same complaints over and over.Ridiculous!

Staff was fast, efficient and friendly. My only complaint was nobody seems to be stocking the shipping boxes in the lobbyas I was lucky to get the last one.

Tired of their service. They lied , marked my packages delivered, then sent package back to sender as non deliverable mail. They delivered my most recent package opened and content stolen. And constantly Mark my address to senders as non deliverable mail. I thought also it's a federal offense to open other people's mail... and not only open... But steal my inner valuable content of envelope. This is ridiculous!!! Their actions cost me a loss of money. How can these actions even be allowed multiple times?????

Why do they lie about "Trying" to deliver a package? You can see my house from the box. I've even had to go pick up a package that would fit in my box. Then you say "UNSECURED LOCATION". Nobody has tried to deliver a package!

The Murphy post office in NC provides extremely unsatisfactory service. This marks the third instance where I've raised concerns about their failure to deliver my packages. Despite their assurances to resolve the matter, they consistently fall short. I continually receive emails citing 'attempted delivery - mailbox full'. According to USPS regulations, they are obligated to deliver packages to my residence, given its proximity of less than 40ft from the main road. It's worth noting that I over heard a post office worker stating to a fellow neighbor that she doesn’t get paid enough to run the neighborhood route and that she refuses to take mail throughout the neighborhood and will only go as far as the the boxes in the very front of the neighborhood. Unlike my previous carrier who consistently delivered to my doorstep without issue, the current service is subpar. We have an issue that’s not being addressed in the community! While I acknowledge that challenges may have arisen in prior years due to Covid, our lifestyle has largely returned to normal. It's puzzling to ascertain their current justification for this continued lapse in service quality. Most Amazon boxes come through USPS and this is becoming a more frequent issue.

Do not use expedited international shipping from this location. Twice now we have paid extra for packages being shipped only to have them take three to four times as long as the regular international claims to take. We ship two packages a year to Finland, and when the regular shipping claims four weeks, we know it will be six to eight weeks. We hoped paying the extra would help, but the last one we sent took nearly eleven weeks. Tracking said package it appeared to sit in Murphy over a week, pop up some time later and stay in FL for a week, then disappear until arriving later to Finnish customs damaged. It had sat in water at some point, we lost a few children's books and a dress. We were not able to get a refund or the difference either time we tried after the expedited shipping, and no one else in Murphy will ship internationally. The staff is friendly and I have never had any issues with packages being delivered to my house. Our experience getting our passports here was seamless, easy, and pleasant. I just don't recommend paying extra or being in a hurry when it comes to international shipping here.

Worse service in the state of NC. This is the 3rd time I question the Murphy post office as to why they are not delivering my packages. They claim that they will rectify the issue, but never do. I continue to receive emails saying 'attempted delivery - mailbox full'. Per USPS regulations they are suppose to deliver packages to my home, since I DO live less than 1/2 mile from main road.. It's a package, it's NOT going to fit in the mailbox! My previous carrier was wonderful and never had a problem delivering to my door. I understand that in years prior (covid) there may have been a problem, however we basically have returned to a semi-normal lifestyle. What's their excuse now!

Several times I have to go pickup package’s because the mail carrier will not bring them to the house. My driveway is shorter than my neighbors who they deliver too. Also they go past me to deliver to the neighbors on the other side. A little secret they told me they give gift cards to the mail carrier at Christmas! Hmmm is that why I don’t get delivered too! Just wondering!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Murphy post office and my delivery drivers. I do have a really long and windy driveway living on the mountain, so I understand their rules and limits. I simply placed a delivery box at the bottom of my driveway and wrote them a permission to use slip, and all my packages are delivered with no issues.Before this, I would go almost daily and wait at the post office for the packages, which I never had an issue with either. During the holiday I would have an expected longer wait, but never had any issues. The staff has been super friendly with me also.People rarely post positive experience, but after reading everyone else's, I had to.

Worst postal service ever.Everyone please put a complaint in on the United postal service official website and perhaps they start taking their job more seriously and not be lazy and make excuses for why they couldn't deliver. Like it to big to fit in the mailbox then put it on the porch u lazy thing that what y'all r paid to do.

Our cluster box parcel bin has had a broken lock for almost 4 years. We will have to pay $45 when it is repaired and we are glad to do that. However after repeatedly filling out repair requests, it is still broken.
