It is very interesting and fun. It is a tiny little space with cool little trinkets that resemble the history of Oriental. I would recommend bringing kids because there is a little coloring station and you can look at some toys from early years in the world. When we went their, their was a cool raffle where you can win a beautiful robe, a dragon paintings fine wine and a really beautiful dragon necklace. The Woman who works there is very nice and very helpful and plays awesome music! I would definitely recommend checking this place out and visiting or consider nice small town, Oriental North Carolina

Second visit to this cool little museum, and even though it is small if Oriental interests you at all, you should stop in and check it out. Enjoyed it very much, and the lady hosts were very friendly, just like the rest of Oriental. Wish I could retire here!!

When you first pulls in it seems like an unassuming roadside stop. What you get on the inside is a small but rich history of this beautiful town of Oriental. Packet to the gills with antiques, artifacts and stories this place does not disappoint. We were there when the older female docent was in. She captivated us with her life stories and her history in the area. The other highlight of the trip was an original movie theater projector from the theater in town! What a treat. Definitely worth a good hour of your time and the cost is extremely reasonable to go in.

Small but very interesting and the staff there can give a good overview of the history of Oriental (Smith's Creek), NC.

lots of interesting facts, artifacts, pictures, items and knowledgable staff...cute little museum. Too bad it isn’t open more often...a number of times I wanted to go there but it wasn’t open...enjoyed our visit.
