In town for work and bar Louie usually doesn't disappoint. It was close to my hotel so I figured it was easy and familiar. I unfortunetly had a terrible experience. I orders a Guiness draft that ended up smelling disgusting and tasted even more disgusting. TERRIBLE !! The bartender said they dont move much of it so that lead me to believe the keg had been sitting for some time and I got whatever was in the lines. I then ordered boneless wings and got bone-in wings that were undercooked and soft. I will not be coming back to this location in my future work travels.

I ate way too much food this evening but that's no one's fault but my own. I was early for my meetup with friends, so I had a huge beer and the buffalo chicken bites. Surprisingly not battered, these were just chunks of chicken in buffalo sauce. No complaints from me - that's completely keto friendly! Friends arrived and they were slow to order. So I asked for the caulflower bites while we waited. Tasty, but nothing unusual here. Main course, I chose a bacon cheeseburger. A big patty, lots of cheese, quite delicious. The pickles were excellent. I was able to substitute a small Caesar salad instead of fries for better keto eating. We were here for a good three hours and no one seemed to mind. Our lovely waitress kept the drinks coming and yes, even refilled the water glasses a number of times. [Review 11625 overall, 1406 of 2019.]

Our server for the Resolvit meet up that evening was very good and attentive. Good job.

I used to love coming here for 5 dollar burger and tots Tuesday's. This is a GREAT deal. Love it, loved Tuesdays. However, they have since changed it up a bit and now it's more expensive but you get an alcoholic beverage or two depending on which you choose. However, overall, I have to say the food is generally overpriced and lackluster. Every time I have gotten food here, I've been unfortunately unimpressed with the exception of the 5 dollar burger. The burger is good, but not 11-13 dollar good. Drinks vary depending on the bartender. However I got a chocolate martini here and it was TERRIBLE. The rim was dusted with a graham cracker crust and tasted like it had been dipped in either salt or lime juice prior. Just had a sour taste that does not mix well with chocolate martini. Also, service is really hit or miss, but much closer to the miss side. Takes quite some time to get a drink or even be greeted. Because I live somewhat close, I like to come here but it never quite lives up to expectations

Nice restaurant and bar to have a meal with friends. It is loud inside when people are there talking and the music playing is turned up. We had a group of 5 and everyone felt the meal was good and service was quick and kept us on the radar throughout the meal.

Terrible service. I had the jalapeno honey chicken and the side veggies were stale and looked like it was sitting out for weeks, highly disappointed about that. Our waitress however corrected it immediately once we were able to locate her. Unfortunately her checking on us wasn't as immediate. I truly miss excellent customer service. It makes me not want to eat out anymore. And I live right across the street from Bar Louie.

It's like most Bar Louie's only the food is not as good and the music is too loud on Monday nights with less than 5 people in the bar. It's difficult to create a party atmosphere without people and it would refreshing to allow at least cell phone use at 1:15 am on a Monday night since there isn't anyone around you. The food is not good. I have tried it 4 times and overall don't expect anything and you'll be impressed. Staff was the only reason this is not a 1 star for me. I was bored enough to give another painful run. Fourth strike and I'm out. Props for being the only thing open in the area at that time.

I usually do not write reviews however after my 2nd experience I felt the need to do so. My 1st visit I made the mistake to come on July 4, we sat in booth by kitchen. Throughout our entire meal we were forced to hear a manager scream and cuss at the staff. My wife asked for a manager and by the time she came to our table we were ready to go! Manager showed no empathy and it was clear she didn't care, don't like it so what... so we paid our bill and left! 2nd Time and by the way last time... our server stood around as if he was bored out of his mind or high still not sure which one. He led us to believe we were interrupting his gossip time with others. Atmosphere is loud and tense!

Went with some colleagues for a casual dinner while out of town for work. Food was decent, nothing special. Bavarian pretzel appetizer was very good, as was the chicken tortilla soup. Tater tot appetizer and quesadilla was ok.

Bar Louie is a great spot to grab a drink or two, maybe some apps as well. I wouldn't get dinner here, as the food isn't the best. The service isn't great either, but the drinks make it worth it. Half priced apps on certain days are a nice treat, but only certain apps go along with the deal, like chips and salsa. I will come back, but only for a drink or two.

Delicious food, Alexis was a great waitress. Really good mixed drinks. 4 people, 4 different meals - Fish tacos, fish and chips, Mac and cheese, and Bleu Burger. All fantastic, flavorful and high quality. Only reason 4 stars was the noise level. Difficulty carrying on a conversation.

I had a BBQ burger & fries. Burger was good & price is reduced on Tues night - at least for now. Fries are shoestring & not as good; room temp, soft & tasted like old grease. It was busy at 7:30 p.m. & Service was really slow, although the waitress, Sandra, was a joy & volunteered to take our table to help out. Atmosphere good, but prepare for loudness - hard to hold conversations. Plenty of free parking around the restaurant. Good value for your money on Tuesdays. Did not try any alcohol.

The food is really good and the atmosphere is pretty. I really enjoy all the waitress staff at this location because they are so friendly and welcoming. I had the macaroni and cheese last time I stopped in and it was sooo cheesy and delicious. My date had the wings and he said they were amazing. I wish the menu catered more to vegetarians but that is wishful thinking!

So, I have mixed feelings about the place. I feel like $8 for a non-alcoholic drink was way too expensive. However, their wedge salad was good and the Bourbon BBQ burger was really tasty. But paying $60 for 2 people for a salad and a burger was ridiculous. I wanted some grilled chicken on my salad and it was an extra $5.50 which brought my salad to $16. I mean it was just iceberg lettuce, people! Anyway, I would definitely go back for the burger again but I won't be ordering any chicken on top since it had candied bacon pieces and I will drink water. Lol

Horrible service. We were told they were busy so we had to go to the bar for anything if we wanted to sit outside. So we did took 15 minutes to be acknowledged but not for drinks but for the bartender to scream at my six year old that she couldn't be near the bar. Mind you we weren't trying to sit there just get something to drink and go outside. He kept yelling at her and myself. Didn't ask if we needed anything then waited another 5 minutes for drinks. We ended up leaving but the service is always horrible/rude but I will never be back because of how they made my child feel.....what is funny everyone there said they only went there because there was no wait and it was the 4th of July and they never went because the service was horrible.

Asked for La Pasion Margarita and got a ton of ice with a pinch of margarita. The menu has no price (see attached photo) so they can charge whatever.

The wife and I stopped by for a quick meal. It was pretty good, we just split an appetizer and flatbread. All in all, I wasnt wholly impressed, but may he that I need to try the main menu.

This is one of my favorite places to hang out, whether it's to lounge and have drinks by myself or to go with friends and enjoy some great music on a weekend. They selected an excellent bar and wait staff and they really cater to their clients needs. I love this place

This place is exactly what you would expect.\n\nThat said, we were searching for a place to have dinner for Father’s Day. Because it was around 10pm on a Sunday (and most restaurants don’t typically pull out all the stops for Father’s Day), we had limited options. We realized that Bar Louie closed at 2am (and we had plans to try it anyway), so we decided to go there.\n\nWhen we walked in, we noticed there weren’t many people there. The sign said to seat ourselves, so we sat at a high top table close to the bar. We were right next the the garage door - it was raised.\n\nOur waiter came up soon after to take our drink order. The waiter recommended a top shelf Long Island for my fiancé (he enjoyed it), and I had my go-to: a Vodka and Cranberry (Tito’s). My drink was a bit high at $8.\n\nWhile he was getting our drinks, we looked over the menu. I decided on the Loaded Tots (pictured) and the Crispy Potstickers (pictured). My fiancé ordered wings and the Pepperoni Flatbread. The food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the Tots! My fiancé’s only complaint was the giardiniera on the flatbread, but that’s personal preference. The food took a bit of time to come out, but it came out hot.\n\nThere wasn’t anything really extravagant about the restaurant, but with the name and atmosphere, it’s just what you would expect.

So we went to Bar Louie yesterday for Father's Day. Our first choice was Longhorn Steakhouse because I wanted a nice steak for my dinner but they had well over an hour wait and some people in my party had to be done by a specific time to be somewhere else. We checked Bar Louie and there was no wait and we soon understood why. Our server wasn't very good at checking in on us. We placed drink orders which took forever to get to us, appetizers came out at different times, and my burger that I ordered medium rare came out well done, minus the sauce that was supposed to be on it. I have ate here before and it wasn't this bad but it has gone downhill. Some of their servers need to learn how to dress because that was very unattractive, makeup caked on that you would need a chisel to chip it off and our server looked like he probably has nightmares about K9 Officers walking around him and his car finding his stash. I was offered to have my burger remade (after I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for him to come by our table) and then he offered free appetizer cards after i declined having the burger redone. I also declined the free appetizer cards because I will not be going back so that would have done me no good and we had to leave by a specific time. Let me also remind you, this place was not packed at all. They had 2 servers on the floor and three 2 top tables and one 3 top when we sat down (we had a party of 10) so there should have been no reason things took this long.

Voodoo Pasta! Not as good as I remember it being, I figured since it was an early lunch the food would have been better. Even the service could have been better. I DEFINITELY will return because this is one of my favorite places no matter what city I'm in!

I flew into RDU, hopped in a rental and headed straight for Bar Louie. I remember when they first opened up a few years back and I loved the food. The place was relatively empty which was a relief because I was starving. I seated myself as per the sign at the entrance and waited for someone/anyone to greet me. After I sat there for about 15 minutes, I watched a party of 6 walk into the restaurant and a female server immediately popped outta nowhere. She took their drink orders, checked on a couple who was already eating, made partial eye contact with me using her peripheral vision and skipped her happy a$$ back to the kitchen. I grabbed my purse and walked out. I left Disappointed, pissed and hungry all thanks to Bar Louie. Don't waste your time here - - unless you have time to waste.

I went out around 11pm and had the Calamari and Luigi sub. Food : Everything was a little salty to taste. The Calamari tasted more like shrimp crackers and the Luigi sub meat was dry. The portions were pretty decent, given that I had to take half the sub to go after sharing an appetizer beforehand. There wasn't really anything too special about the food tbh. Was a decent meal to finish off the day over a beer. The beer was pretty smooth and good. Environment : The lights were dim and the music was more for a bar/club vibe, which makes since since my friend and I went at 11pm. The waiter was very attentive - I think this depends on when you swing by since it was relatively empty at night. There's loud people and music and it's a nice place to hang out and grab a beer after work. This place doesn't really card people either, at least in our visit.

Wine and mixed drinks are way overpriced. Food is fair and waitstaff are not as attentive as I feel is acceptable but I never was really upset about the service

Came here for the Tuesday $5 burger deal. As expected the place was packed - I visited around 6:30-7:00pm. I went with my son for a, hopefully, quick dinner stop before heading home after work/practice. Bar Louie is a seat-yourself place, which can have it's advantages and disadvantages. After a mild showdown with another patron, over an empty table that I'd spotted immediately as I walked in, I ceded and waited for another table to open up. I didn't have to wait too long. The server in this section cam, cleared the table and took our orders with a welcomed quickness. My son ordered the mac and cheese from the kids menu which, to both our delight, was NOT boxed Kraft mac and cheese or some haphazardly thrown-together noodles and shredded cheese. This recipe was creamy and savory, topped with crunchy bread crumbs which made for nice added flavor and aesthetic appeal. I ordered the Spiked Bulleit Burbon Burger.I ordered my burger medium well. Period. Probably should've opted for medium. All in all the burger was just OK. In my very humble opinion, there were too many ingredients and sauces that didn't quite mesh well.
