Went there today with my daughter - she tried on shoes and needed a half size up (still toddler shoe sizing). No price on shoes, found out shoes were $89.99. They mentioned Foot Locker had the shoe in stock in her size so we walked down to pick them up where we discovered they cost $120 there. When you promise your kid a shoe and it seems to be their fault that the price goes up for needing a larger size, it becomes a really awful day.

Horrible customer service. They are rude and unfriendly. I've never gotten greeted when walking in there. You also have to chase someone down to help you. The bald guy is extremely rude and unprofessional. They always have an attitude. I would rather go two stores over to Journeys kidz where the customer service is amazing.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE especially being a day after Christmas. I encountered such a terrible representative Noah Chavis, he even tried to get physical. He was extremely disrespectful and disgusting with me

The black guy wearing glasses and no hair was so rude. Not nice to customers, may be he doesn't want to sell it.

I was in the store on a Saturday 07/22 in the morning and tried to purchase some shoes for my son who is 5 years old. They did not have his size so the clerk promised we would have them in 3 days delivered to my door. I looked on Amazon and they were slightly more expensive and so I thought since I was there I would let them handle the ordering. Heck it was only one more day. Footlocker - in case you see this here is my order number so you can call and make it right: 16464740722170030913960100 I began to get suspicious when I did not get tracking info till Tuesday and wouldn't you know it's going to take 5 days. I called and began getting the old run around about company policy and how ordering works. This info would have been good before placing the order. The info is, how they tried to find the shoes but no other store in the area had them so they had to send them from the warehouse in Wisconsin and since they are coming from the warehouse it will take longer since they don't ship overnight from there, they only ship overnight from other stores. What kind of crazy-ness is this? It gets better. I used their online form to complain and the response I got was "Thanks for your response, but you have to call a different 800 number since you don't have a customer account". Why have an online form if everyone can't use it. I have my receipt number and all other info. It's called the World Wide Web for a reason. So I called the 800 numbers and left a message and after 2 days and I finally got someone to call me back who was knowledgeable and apologetic but also informed me the shoes will not be here till Saturday. A whole week for shoes and she said she still can't guarantee that since it's coming USPS. She also asked if I would like a call from the District Manager who oversees the store and I said yes. Then she tells me she can request it but It may not happen because they are busy and don't have time for that. Then why offer. Can't they guarantee anything besides a bad customer service? Word of advises "Just order from Amazon.com." This was the first time shopping at Kids Footlocker and the last. As you can see I spend some money on my son and his shoes and the customer service was terrible. No email no phone call letting me know of the delay, just a lady on the phone saying you can purchase them somewhere else and return them when they finally get there. You can bet I will. Honestly It was not the delay, it was the I don't care attitude of the people when I called both to the 800 number and to the store. I can purchase the product anywhere. I have heard bad things about purchasing things from there and now I know its true. I'm really surprised nobody offed me an apology or quicker shipping or a coupon or anything for any of this and lead me to believe this is common practice just to make the sale. We all know it's not only the current sale we are after but also future sales and customer loyalty. It's called good customer service, try it out you may like it.

We visited this location twice. We won't be back. The first time, we went to get my son a pair of big boy shoes. I was shocked at the service. The sales people were not engaging at all. We weren't greeted upon entering and had to see them out to be helped. When they did bring the size we requested, they only brought one shoe. I don't know if they have an issue with people running out of the store with shoes, but this was odd. I had to request that we try on the other shoe. We considered buying more but the behavior of the 4 year old was rapidly. After purchasing the shoe, my son complained to my husband that his shoes hurt. We dismissed it thinking that this was his first big boy shoe and he just needed to get used to it. Within a couple of weeks, we decided to buy him an additional pair of shoes. We went to a different store and was confident that we knew his size. Well, those shoes did not fit. The person there measured his feet and we learned that one foot was 1/2 size bigger than the other (which is apparently a common known fact in the shoe business). So now, we have shoes from footlocker that are 1/2 size too small, hence my return trip to this location. I wanted to exchange the shoes. I had my sales receipt that was now only 12 days old. I requested the exchange and was directed to the manager...whew! He was the one who initially helped us and measured the foot. He denied the exchange because I did not have the box. When when purchased these shoes, I had no idea I would need to exchange them! We recycle in this house and that cardboard box has since made its way to a new life. I asked what he would have done if something was wrong with the shoe and he responded that he would have defected them out. I didn't understand why he couldn't exchange my shoe and defect it out, especially since he was the one who should have had the industry knowledge to size both feet of a kid. When you go to a place like a Kid's Footlocker, you expect expertise and service. When you pay $75 for one pair of shoes for a 4 year old, you expect that you will be able to exchange them should something come up during the refund period. I got none of this from this store and we will not spend another dime there. We contacted customer service but could only get in touch with the people that assist with online orders. They were quite helpful so maybe we will follow the trend of retail and order future shoes online and see how well our local Footlocker with the poor service continues to hold up. I am not sure if we will get our shoes exchanged or if this will be the last time we purchase any shoes from the franchise. I just wanted to warn everyone...hoard those boxes for at least 30 days and hope for the best.

I am a frequent customer, have been for a while. Mr Chavis, the bald guy with glasses, is the greatest. Never have I ever walked out unsatisfied. He is very respectful, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Some times I can be very indecisive and he has always taken the time to help me, no matter how long it takes. Thank you Mr Chavis and I will be by this week to pick up my usual, air max and Jordan's...
