I recently had a small hiccup while renting a car from the Hertz location on Capitol Boulevard, but the issue was swiftly and efficiently addressed by Nick, the manager, and Brian. Their prompt and effective resolution not only fixed the problem but also demonstrated their exceptional commitment to customer service. Their ability to quickly turn around a less-than-ideal situation into a positive experience was impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend renting a car from this Hertz location for their professionalism and the outstanding service provided. A big thank you to Nick, Brian, and the Hertz team!

The representative working at the Capital Blvd Hertz location today was an absolute life saver. I arrived 30 min late for my pickup after they had already closed for the day (Saturday). Entirely my fault, yet the rep still went out of his way to assist me with my pickup and was very friendly and pleasant in the process. Highly impressed with the level of customer service from this place and saving me from missing my upcoming work appointments on Monday. I will be using Hertz exclusively for work rentals moving forward and will spread the good word to my friends and colleagues.

Dumb dumb company. Has one person that can help me. There’s a line of 4-5 people in this line. Meanwhile there are 4-5 other employees that can’t do this thing because it would make too much sense to cross train employees. Stupid. I’ll avoid hertz for sure.

I got the rental paid for with insurance company they waited so long to take money out 10/31 turns into 12/13 charges me 267$ for being 12$ short I will be there on Monday morning about these charges this worst ever I went through I had 50$ deposit what fees for coming out to 267$ omg horrible I will never return here ever sad

I booked a car in advance. I arrived in Uber to pick up the car and a surprise was waiting for me!!!! - The representative told me that he has no vehicles and that all the vehicles in the lot are reserved for other people (something is not clear to me... I made an order through the Priceline website - and Hertz does not care about their customers!!!)

When my wife went to pick up our rental, she had to wait 15 minutes to be helped and then another 30 to get out the door when we had an existing reservation through insurance. The person who helped my wife was very helpful, however. When I just dropped our car off, I stood in the office for 15 minutes without anyone offering to help. In that time, two employees walked by me arguing over who was going to leave early and a couple other employees walked past me without saying anything. I finally had to address someone to ask if I could simply drop my car off. Everyone in the office was extremely unprofessional. I get that their system is inherently slow and hamstrings their service time once they're helping you, but the rest of the experience was also terrible.

Very understaffed so wait times are very long. Corporate policy and alleged store policy apparently do not match meaning extra unnecessary charges. Store employees are nice but I observed even the manager being inefficient- apologizing for wait times but then carrying on long personal conversations with other customers while he was the only one there. Frustrating experiences all around.

I’ve honestly never dealt with a more inept outfit. We made a reservation over a month ago. We showed up to pickup our vehicle and were told they didn’t have the car. No advance heads up. No attempt to help. After trying to get help they eventually told us we were out of luck and that there was nothing they could do. They also couldn’t help with a refund, we had to call in and handle that on our own. They left us and our kids standing there without a vehicle for our trip. The staff couldn’t have cared less. It was a truly surreal experience in operational and customer service failure; a true disgrace. Avoid this place!

If I could give a zero I would! The worst hertz ever! Order for a car online on the second for pickup on the seventh. Took the money as soon as I hit send ?! Got to the site to pick up the car and the car I had chosen was not there and they don’t take my card. Asked them to give me my refund was told that I would get it within 7 to 10 days. Just called customer service and the said the refund request was not put in. ? so now have to wait another 7 to 20. Really don’t wait 7 to 10 to take my money

If I could give zero stars I would.Complete nonsense establishment.I rented a car for a work trip in Greensboro, for which I was required to give a presentation. I booked it the previous day and figured since it was a rental, everything would be in order. I had to reach Greensboro before 12. I took the vehicle out on to the road, and my passenger happened to check the registration document, which turned out to be expired. We had to bring the car back to Raleigh, because I wasn't confident about driving a car with an expired registration. Called up Hertz and spoke with the manager Jeremy, who said the plate has a "PM" sticker on it. What on earth will I do with a sticker if a cop pulls me over? When I told him I wanted to return the car, he said he would email me the registration document right away. Why? Is a cop going to wait for me to go print it out and hand it over to him? Why are you guys even running a rental, if you can't do the bare minimum of having your rental documentation updated? I took this rental on October 12th and the registration had expired on June 30th. I don't understand. I missed my meeting, and spent USD 150 for nothing. Money doesn't grow on trees.And the guy who rented it out to me - all prim and proper and upright - the way he was behaving was as though I was doing something illegal (I'm not American), asking me what I'm doing with this car, where I'm going, what my trip is about. If you're so concerned about doing things right, get your end of the deal right first.When I returned this car, the employee who processed my return was nice enough to to ask the manager if there was anything that could be done - the manager wouldn't even come out of his room.Nice job guys. Great place. *Dripping with sarcasm*

Ryan is very knowledgsble seek him out to get you started. Jeff helped us with vehicle, very patient with me through the car selection process. With the pricing bubble we are experiencing with vehicles this is a good option. They also have a good selection of vehicles to chose from.
