I use them exclusively because of my cooperate rate but this time I had a issue with the vehicle and they were not very responsive ?. Whenever they respond it's always the same prepared response to every customer, so you know they really don't give a damn.

Incredibly mid considering they're one of the more midrange-expensive brands. Some cars are in terrible quality and smell horrid some are alright. Since I could pick my vehicle, I'll tell you, it was alright. But it would have been vexing if I got one of the trashier models. The return process was easy enough and their shuttle too and from the airport comes at very regular hours.

Worst experience ever. It was my first time renting an ev car they got me a polester2 with a bad battery. I had to charge it 5 times to get back from Dulles airport which is too much costing me time and extra money. Please get rid of cars like this.

We travel often and rent cars 2-3 times/month from all of the major brands and have NEVER had such an incredible/smooth process - especially late at night. We are used to waiting in lines, dealing with less than pleasant staff, etc. but our experience with Hertz RDU was exceptional. Our flight arrived at 10:30 pm and we were immediately greeted by a shuttle driver who was so nice and took us straight to the rental car center without waiting for other guests. From there, since we are Gold Members we looked at the board, picked our car (about 15 options to choose from) and then drove to the gate and were on our way in less than 10-15 minutes from getting off the plane. On our way back, a different shuttle driver was incredible friendly and speedy getting us to the airport. Highly recommend doing business with this Hertz location. Thank you for making our trip so smooth! Wish we could remember the 2 amazing driver names…

Out of all the rental cars we browse this one was a little pricey , but they take apple pay. They let you pay with a debit card (is more costly (500) tho). The person that registered us was super nice , attentive, willing to help and committed to deliver the best service. 5 stars. At the cars are all pretty much the same. The key parts for a rental are the price and the customer service.Hertz super recommended ?

Booked my hertz vehicle online and paid $222. Picked up vehicle and refused all additional insurances and roadside assistance. I signed contract for $222. I see 2 charges on my credit card for $222. Second charge was for optional insurance and roadside assistance that we refused!! Interesting that it was the same amount of money. I called customer service. They were very rude telling me too bad I signed the contract. This is fraud. Never rent a car from hertz again! I am reporting to attorney general.

Extremely unprofessional and rude behavior from the customer support person at the counter.Beware that with a prepaid Manager special they can assign electric car for your rental and for changing it to gas fueled car, they will ask to upgrade the car and pay extra!

My plane was over 90 minutes late and we didn’t land at RDU until 1:30am. The manager at Hertz had his employees go home and stayed until my flight landed so I could pick up my rental car. Fantastic service and I will continue using Hertz when I travel to the Raleigh-Durham area.

HORRIBLE. They upsell you on the fuel purchase but fail to tell you yo will get charged for a full tank even though you return with over half full. Tried to call for over an hour and you cannot get a human being. Will NEVER use them again. After purchasing, ended up with an electric vehicle and cannot get hold of anyone to take of the charges. so deceiptful!!!

I generally look forward to Hertz, always a step up from the other rental car providers and always expect solid customer service. This experience is generally made even better with recently joining Presidents Club.Unfortunately, that was not my family's experience while renting through Hertz at RDU. We had an early pick up and after picking up the car, providing our presidents club number and as we approach the gate, we were stopped. The gate agent didn't respect our status, was not helpful in looking up said status and overall rude. Not typical from a service where you have status and from a company you consistently do business with. This was made worse by threatening my mother who has limited English comprehension that if we drove away without paying the fee, that we would never be able to rent from Hertz again. A fee that is comped by President Club and the Credit Card that we paid with.I look forward to renting with Hertz throughout the country but I definitely won't be giving any business to Hertz RDU or ever renting a car from them again.

I was optimistic heading into my Hertz rental in Raleigh. Apparently that optimism was misplaced. To note, I'm a Presidents' Circle member. I am guaranteed at least one car upgrade. When I arrived, they assigned me the five star zone, which is one level down, and there were almost no cars there. The only ones available were small sedans. I reserved and paid for a five passenger SUV.I went to the club gold line, and they told me to go back, I told them the cars were too small. The employee seemed pretty. Unconcerned. So they finally let me go to President's Circle. Again, almost no cars. Did not get an upgrade as promised, and the car I got had visible damage.I called Avis to complain about my experience, and they literally hung up. Such a terrible commitment to customers.Never again! I am now inspired to go back to Avis.

Been renting from Hertz/Dollar for over a decade and this has been the worst experience I have ever had renting a vehicle. I will never use them again. We booked online and paid for most of the reservation and only needed to pay the rest when we arrived. They charged us another $850 on top of what was already paid in advance only to give us a small vehicle and wouldn't upgrade us even though we paid almost $1500. We Kept the vehicle for a day and decided to return it, only to be charged $577 for the day and a half that we had it. The manager didn't help but corrected me on HIS/HER Pronoun/ sexual preference when it should not have been a part of the conversation in the first place. I don't bother no one, you live as you choose. This manager was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional and never apologized for the inconvenience but stormed off with a hissy fit. As we left, another employee told us we should have kept the car! I don't know what Hertz got going on but this ain't it! We ended up at enterprise and paid less than $500 and got a bigger vehicle in less than 15min with better customer service and they offered us water! I do want to thank the man with the dreads for helping and apologizing for the inconvenience when his manager didn't and also the bald guy for helping us outside. H
