I was help by Ray. Great customer service. Came in for an oil change, and him and his team provided extra services doing a quick inspection on my car. They worked very quick and efficient. I was in and out in no time.

Women beware. Girlfriend went in for the oil change special, came back with an oil leak and a mechanic telling her that the car had oil pouring out of it, shocks and struts were bad (I replaced them less than 10k miles ago) and they said the "new" (not a single drop of oil was on the driveway) oil leak was from a bad valve cover gasket. When I inspected the car they had put a oil drain bolt in the car with no gasket and there was zero evidence of a leaking valve cover gasket.I'd steer clear of this location.

Midas was very helpful, personable, and helped to get us the repairs we needed while knocking a couple thing down in price and finding discount options to help fit our budget. Will be taking our car straight here next time it has any issues. Worked with Ray and Carlos at the Capital Blvd location, both were very helpful and made sure everything was clear, and the car is working like it should now.

I went to get my tires changed today, and it was a pleasant to experience. it was done in time, I was serviced right away :) shout to out Carlos, made the entire experience comfy. He made sure to call me today and we talked prior the day before to discuss the buy 2 get 2 free deal. Nice man :)

My experience at Midas was phenomenal! I am already a skeptic when it comes to needing my truck repaired being that I am a woman and think mechanics are not trustworthy. But the guys at Midas are totally awesome! Jason was very patient at explaining things to me as well as helpful when it came to assisting me with getting financing for the repairs. They are now my go to mechanics!

Stopped at the Midas shop on Capital Blvd in Raleigh just to get an estimate. Being impressed with the pricing, I asked about the next available opening. To my surprise, they were able to get me in right away! Great prices! Great service! Thanks Midas!

I went in for a 49.99 oil change and ended up spending 176.00. my car is only 4 yrs old . Something didn't seem quite right about it. I wanted to fix something on my door . They told me they had to order the partOnly to find out it had not been ordered at the time it was supposed to have been ordered. I was called in when it came in for them to tell me the (new) part was defective and that I would have to wait 2-3 more weeks. Needless to say that I was ? pissed.

Midas Touch?My experience only turns their profits to Gold! Post pandemic I have tried to find one automotive repair shop that I could trust the servicing of my two cars to. I thought that it was going to be the Midas shop at 3621 Capital Blvd, but that was not to be. I did try.A week ago Friday, I took my vehicle in due to a noise coming from the front brakes.They called me later to say that the front brakes were perfect! The brake pads and rotors were replaced by Midas in August 2022. Midas has their famous lifetime warranty on their brake pads, which is “peace of mind” to me. That peace of mind cost me $428.96, which I felt was fair.Midas indicated that my problem was the rear brakes, NOT the front. I was charged $515 to replace the rear rotors and brake pads for $515, which again included their lifetime warranty on brake pads.Upon picking up my vehicle, the front brakes were STILL making the same noise and the front shimmies when the brakes are pressed. I can only drop my car off on Fridays. On Monday I called Midas and made an appointment to drop my vehicle off again on Friday.On Friday morning I asked Midas how I ended up spending over $500 for rear brakes with “perfect brakes” on the front that still had a problem? All they could say is that they would check it out and let me know.Later than morning, Midas called me back to say that I needed new rotors and brake pads for $480! I told them to perform the work. I also asked again WHY when I told them about my front brake issue, I ended up with a new rear brake job? There was no real explanation. I told the Manager that I was losing confidence in their expertise. The Manager called back 10 minutes later to say that he could tell that I was not happy, and that he wanted to relay some information that would make me feel better.He then explained that the front rotors were warped. That this could be caused by hard braking or heat transfer or a number of other things. Then he said that they could replace the rotors WITHOUT replacing the brake pads, which he wouldn’t recommend as they should both be replaced at the same time. I expressed to him that I didn’t understand how what he was saying was supposed to make me feel better. I told him that the issue was not that the rotors needed replacing. The issue was that I brought my vehicle in a week earlier with a front brake issue that was not fixed! NOW my “perfect” brakes have an issue and he’s saying that he could do part of the job by not replacing the pads (which have a lifetime warranty). I let him know that this is another reason why I have lost confidence in Midas.Well, a few hours later after paying them $488.81 for new rotors AND “free” brake pads, I picked up my vehicle. Prior to picking up my vehicle, I called another Midas store. They would complete the same job (new rotors AND PAYING for new pads for $450).I asked Midas why I’m now paying $70 more for the job with “free” brake pads? He indicated that the price difference was the labor. I asked why the labor difference and he said that he couldn’t explain it. He talked to the Manager and came back with a “he said that he would give you a free oil change “.I told him that I would pass, since I would not be returning to their store! I have been using Midas since when they were known as Midas Muffler. They had a great reputation. I have experienced problem after problem at this location. I’m hoping that the issue is contained to just this location.Honestly, I must admit that I am a little concerned about the whole “lifetime warranty” where you can leave the store paying MORE than if you just paid for the part to start with! That and having to make TWO trips for ONE issue is just too much for ME. I’M OUT!!Maybe you will have a different experience with the Midas Touch. Everything THEY touch turns to gold for them. Not so much for the customer.

Went in because I had a nail in my tire. Not only did they charge me $40 but in a week I had to go back because my tire was flat again. I don’t know about you but if a shop can’t fix a tire properly I definitely wouldn’t trust them with car repairs.
