I was there on the weekend of the fourth this past year, actually, late in the day on the 3rd, about 4. I had a small issue and should have found it myself. Bad battery, The trim and everything worked, motor wouldnt turn over, So why should i think the battery?
To get on with it. I walked in the office and told the nice lady what was going on. She went to the shop, told the 2 guys and they spoke with me. Make story shorter. They grabbed every tool they thought they needed. Found out out it was the battery. From the time I pulled up and left was maybe 15 minutes. And the folks treated us so giod. They will always have my buisness. Thanks

I own a dealership (Tideline Marine) in a different city. I am a young and still learning this industry. Not only does Open Waters have a stellar staff the owner, Roger, spends time mentoring me every time I have a question, technical to business related. They are a great community asset.

Tried roger multiple times because he was the only person that worked on inboards in sneads ferry. He charged me double what he quoted me and never called before doing so. When I came to pick up the boat and questioned why the cost was double what he quoted me he just sweared at me multiple times in front of my 9 year old. He is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Since taking the boat to other places in Wilmington I have verified that he didn’t even do the things he told me he did.

No surprises, just good service. The team let me know the problem and the cost up front. No surprises and they (especially Roger) stuck through until all was working. Dash board wiring can be a headache and although I will have to figure out why the rear speakers don't work as they did before the big issue, I am sure it is just a loose connection. I won't bother them with something this trivial as the major work was done to the highest caliber. They will be my "go to" for any issues. Thanks.

Roger at Open Water serviced my old outboard Mercury motor and even made a house call when it was not running well. When I was ready to purchase a new motor, he suggested a great one and I ordered through Open Water. They made the purchase quick & easy and handled all the paperwork involved in getting it registered. In addition, they assisted me with selling my old motor for a very reasonable listing fee, again making the paperwork easy. Most recently I ordered a new trailer from Open Water. I can't say enough about how nice they are and how much they stand behind their work. Great customer care!
