After several (and I mean, several) grocery store visits throughout this tiny, little town called Winston-Salem, I finally located a business that actually sold what I've been craving for: King crab legs!!!! I also visited their Membership Services station to (finally) redeem my $20 eGiftcard and free Maker's Mark pie promised to me after purchasing my Sam's Club membership via Groupon. The prices may be... competitive, however, it IS a surplus megastore selling several items in bulk unlike your regular grocery store. I've always been a fan of Sam's Club for their low prices in gas/fuel as well as the pleasant interactions that I ALWAYS have with their employees working hard to offer up kind and consistent customer service.

for over 20 years we've not had a problem until today. the register did not take our card for some reason. upon asking for assistance, the girl came over and did not try to.punch the number in or try to help in any way. she said you will have to go to the bank and see what they say. she Did Not even try!!! my husband left the groceries and told her to put them up and walked out. my husband did not curse her, but he was really upset. says he will never go back. we spend thousands of dollars a year which is probably nothing yo you but

Most of the time they have everything you need at a better price. The only thing they were out of today was A1 steak sauce. I’ll get it next time

My family owns a small business, and we have been shopping at this Sam's Club for years, but over the last few months especially we've had a lot of mixed experiences. They're hours have differed a bit from whats posted online which was a bit annoying, but it's usually not a big issue. What did really throw us off was in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic they would tell people they were limiting the amount of shoppers without warning and we would show up needing supplies and didn't have enough time to wait to get in so we went without. In response we would get up extremely early and wait an hour in line to make sure we could get in, only for several people to jump ahead in line, and for the staff to decide against limiting shoppers and let easily 200 people in. No one was doing anything to stop people from crowding into areas or trying to promote distancing, and they even had a random police officer standing guard at the toilet paper. Since then things have settled down a lot thankfully, but it really put a strain on our business. Aside from obvious items, they have managed to keep the store well stocked over the last few months which we have appreciated. It's nothing for us to fill two flat carts, and staff is happy to let us leave carts up front when they get full so we can keep shopping which we also have found helpful. Our one complaint for this location is that it's nothing for us to have to spend $500-900 multiple times a month here, because we really need extra supplies right now, and the staff isn't really sympathetic towards businesses owners. Only one time we've been in did an employee tell us we could leave our carts up front and got us help loading all of our purchases. Our last visit we told two different employees we would need help unloading the carts in the vehicle, and even waited out front, and got no help. Overall, this location stays well stocked and it is typically clean and easy to navigate, but it definitely could work harder on providing a better service experience, especially when some of their customers are relying on them to keep their own businesses open.

Discrimination from the moment you walk in the door. Three people walked in previously before myself without having to show their membership card. However, the security guard or whatever her job title is required me to inconveniently dig in my wallet to show mine. I requested to know why I was singled out and she preceded to straight up lie to me & said she checks everyone’s membership card who walks in the door. Another Sams employee also lied stating that everyone’s membership is checked. Extremely rude & unethical values at this Sams location on university. They will not be getting any of my hard earned money. DISCRIMINATION at it’s finest!!

It's ok. I purchased a membership since they won't allow one day passes. After spending almost an hour looking around, I purchased 2 items. Check out was smoother that other clubs. It just seems like a glorified Walmart. I will most likely cancel the membership and continue using a different brand club.

The workers don't have good working skills and got attitudes. And the managers don't help you at all. I'm over this store. They need customer service training

Loving coming here for the deals on everything you can think off. They constantly have free samples of their food and drinks. The in house cafe has great deals on pizza, burgers and now cheesy bread that is far out! Don't forget about their tire center!
