I will preface this review with I worked for Verizon in the past in a retail store setting as a manager. I just walked into This store to upgrade my wife’s phone and the experience we had was absolutely terrible. after asking us, no questions about what we wanted to do or what our plans were for our plan the agent went to the back and printed us out two different options. After telling him I did not want insurance on the phone. His exact words were we don’t sell new phones without insurance on them it covers the phone. I told him I do not want insurance and he said he could walk me through doing everything on my phone instead. All because the store does not want their sales numbers to reflect on not selling insurance with the plan change or upgrade. That is absolutely atrocious service to tell someone they have to have something they do not have to have. I asked to speak to a manager, and the person tried to walk back what they said, and manager brushed it under the rug like it was nothing do not go here they will and do unethical sales practices.

Worst Verizon experience ever! I had our representative for our business order a phone to be picked up at this location by one of our employees. Something we have done many times at many different locations. Once the employee gets there the store usually calls or send a verification text to me to make sure everything is legit. This did not happen. Actually my employee was not even greeted with a hello or a how can I help you. He actually received a what do you need in a very rude tone. they(Aleah) told him he could not pick up the phone and they were very rude about it. He asked for the manager(Khalil) who came out and was just as rude. Spelling of names may be wrong. He finally called our representative to have him talk them and the manager actually started yelling at our rep. Finally after going back and forth for a while I get a text to approve this pick up. Then my employee wanted to get the business accessory bundle from them and they said no they don't do that. Which is not true this is a perk for being a business customer. You can buy any 3 accessories at a discount. Then they would not help him to make sure his phone worked correctly since the number was being transported. I have never had or heard of such awful customer service from a Manager and their employee. I do not recommend this location. There are several not too far away go there!

Worst customer service ever. They were so rude when all I was doing was picking up a phone for work. They knew I was coming. They said they would have to contact acct manger because I wasn’t on The account. I wasn’t making changes, just picking up phone, I showed my driver license and offered the number for them to call the account manager. They said I had to do it. I’m like ok but it could be anyone you know. Finally got that part done, they tossed me the phone in the bag. I asked them if they could get my info off the old phone onto the new one. They said no they didn’t have time. I asked if they would help me set it up. They said no. What a mess! Don’t go here. Very disappointed and we have a corporate account with lots of phones.

Verizon's cellular service is great, but...their prices are high and when you trade-in a phone for money off your newly upgraded phone you don't get it, let me explain...
A few months ago I traded in my phone (400 dollar value) with Verizon and upgraded for a new Pixel. I truly wish the representative would have told me what it truly meant was me receiving a 10 dollar credit until the my 400 dollar credit was finished! What this means is if you choose to go with a different provider you lose a big chunk of your money that you thought you were getting when you traded-in your phone. Part of this gimmick is to keep you as a customer (how thoughtful!).
From the time I traded-in my phone and decided to get service with another provider i still owed 600 dollars on my phone! When it should have been 300ish. But, because of Verizon's "catchy" phone trade-in you get screwed in the long run if you decide to go with another carrier....you WILL LOSE OUT ON A LOT OF YOUR TRADE-IN PHONE CREDIT and that's that!
But Verizon's phone service is great though!

Worst service ever. I bought a charger from a different store get told to visit a corporate store to replace my life time warranty charger to get told they can't give me one. I didn't spend 40 bucks on a good charger to not be able to use my warranty. I needed one in a pinch and at the kannapolis store location and they have no issues selling me one and I had to replace it 1 time cause I use it so much for all my thing for my job and now I moved to Winston-salem for closer to my job as well as family and now no location here will replace it. So now my fiance is headed to kannapolis to get me a warranty exchange and replace my charger 100 miles and $60 dollars in fuel wasted cause I need my charger to day for my job. If u need something don't expect any Verizon store location to help u they only wanna sell u things to make money and not help with ur warranty exchange like I was told I could do

Went in wanting to upgrade my phone early since I had more than 50% of my current phone from verizon paid off, and was told that the only way to upgrade was to completely pay off the phone I have. Lot of pushy sales tactics to add a new line to get a discount on a new phone, and when I asked the worker to clarify that there was no way to upgrade without paying off my phone she said no. Went to a different verizon the next day and was immediately taken care of; right off the bat was told I was 100% eligible for an early upgrade and got said upgrade without paying off my current phone (just had to give it to them). The phone I went in with was in great condition and there was no reason for the worker to tell me that I absolutely had to pay off my phone before upgrading. I understand trying to sell stuff but this was too far!! Luckily I’m not gullible but beware those who might be or have family who might be!!

Was paying 250 and had one phone...still paying for stolen phones. Went to spectrum and got TV plus internet new phone and wifi for less than what I was paying at Verizon. Had been with Verizon over 20 years

Customer service here is non-existent. Waited (as usual) only to be greeted by an individual who acted like I was intruding upon his time. I had all the information needed, but he condescendingly acted like I didn’t know what I an IMEI number was for my phone. He also did not explain things thoroughly. Verizon needs to step up their game in that particular store.

Very simple to pickup an online order. Didn't bug me about setting up my phone for me and let me do it myself. Very polite and efficient and overall an excellent experience.

When cancelling my Internet service because it's not available at the address I'm moving to, I'm told to bring my router to a store to avoid being charged for it. Then, after waiting fifteen minutes to be greeted and checked in (with employees visible unoccupied), I'm told that the best they can do is print off a mailing label for me to drop off at UPS. Why even bother making store drop-off an option?
Additionally, while waiting for over two hours for further support (after being told it was a twenty minute wait) you can't help but notice what has to be intentionally the most uncomfortable stools that are provided to prospective customers while the employees use easily $500+ office chairs. Absolutely disgraceful, and it's easy to see why the subcontracted stores have significantly higher reviews as compared to the corporate stores.

That there is no direct number for the store is ridiculous. It goes straight to a "customer service" line that is AI and not a live person, which I don't have a problem with HOWEVER when you ask to be transferred to the store, they cycle you back to the 1-800 line. God forbid it was an emergency and you needed to get in touch with one of their employees, it wouldn't happen... Zero stars for that.

Wouldn’t help with an account issue after was told by customer service to go to this corporate location. Set up a phone call for a higher level rep to call me which never happened. Worse than the DMV.

The location does not open at 10 am. Employees decide when to open the stores on their time. This store needs better management.
