I have been using online ordering since before the pandemic. I used this store quite a bit at first and they did a pretty good job. But I lived closer to a Neighborhood WalMart so unless I needed something outside of groceries I would use them.I have now moved and this is the closer location to my home so I decided to switch. Big mistake, when I got the notification that my order was ready, I proceeded to curbside pick up and checked in.I waited patiently while listening to a podcast but then I noticed cars coming and going with their orders that had arrived after me. I checked the time and realized I had been waiting for 45 minutes. I stopped an employee and asked if he could check on my order. He asked my name and said he would. After about 10 minutes I called the store and when I finally got someone in the dept- she didn’t ask any qualifying questions she just told me that I had arrived before my order was ready and hung up on me. When I tried to call back no one would answer fromThe dept.After about another 15 minutes another employee stopped by my car and said he told someone to bring my order out- which then took another 15 minutes.I’m not sure if the confusion is them having curbside as well as a sort of drive thru pickup situation, but I do know that waiting more that 15-20 minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready is unacceptable.I will drive out of my way to a Neighborhood Walmart from now on where I know I can count on prompt courteous service!

I’m giving a 5-star review not necessarily because this is the best Walmart store but because of the Walmart Plus option that runs out of this location for me. Shopping in-store here was pretty much the same hassle as every Walmart store, but, oh my goodness, the Walmart Plus is awesome! I signed up for it a couple of weeks ago and it costs $98 a year, but they had a promo going that gave me $50 in Walmart credit so it cost just $48 for the year. The groceries are delivered for free (unless you want them within a couple of hours) and all you pay is the price of the groceries and a tip for the delivery person. They deliver in blocks of 1 hour, but I’ve found that when I schedule a delivery time between 2pm and 3pm, my groceries are delivered closer to 2pm. I can’t rave enough about this service and how convenient it is for me.

Overall this store may get low grades, but when you find an employee that goes above and beyond you should shout them out. Shout out to Fantasia who works in apparel, however took an enormous amount of her time and consideration to make sure all of my questions were answered over the phone when she couldn't find anyone in the department where I was seeking assistance. I love when people go above and beyond to make sure you have a good shopping experience. Fantasia Barrino has nothing on Fantasia from apparel at the kester Mill Walmart! It is now my favorite Walmart!

Do NOT order a cake from the bakery. It was ordered for a sweet 16 bday party and the time to pick up was changed. Added 2 hours which would've been AFTER the party. Now scrambling to find anything. No apologies from staff

Every time I come to this store, there's an issue! They never have customer service reps available, no registers are opened and employees they have don't know what they are doing. Gift cards are never working, worst store!

Two years in a row, I've used the Vision Center for my glasses. 2 years in a row that I have NOT gotten what I ordered. Paid to have the coating put on my glasses to make them sunglasses, and that is NOT what I received. Last year, they wanted to charge me an ADDITIONAL charge because I was out of my FREE 30-day complimentary fix. This year, well, I'm overseas and picked them up (after they had them for over 3 weeks to make) on my way out of town. Here I am on the beach in Qatar and I am BLINDED because I ONLY have a regular pair of glasses....they are NOT sunglasses!!I also sent in 2 other pairs, 1 was BROKEN in their care, and I've NOT checked the 3rd pair since I'm out of the country.This will be my last time using the Vision Center at the Kester Mill Walmart.

I took my elderly mother to this Walmart today and she was going to get a few necessities. She was trying to get an item that's now locked up. It was $1.09 the item she was trying to get. She pushed the button that supposed to alert an employee to come and unlock the glass door so she can receive the item. She stood there for 20 minutes waiting and pushed it maybe 3 times total. No one ever came over. She found me and told me about it and I went over to see if I could help her. There was a young lady working there and I said I would like to get this item that's locked up. She never spoke to me about it and a couple minutes went by I thought she was going to come over and unlock for her. She finally said some one will come help you in a minute. I said "Thank You"! I waited about 10 minutes and started looking around on that isle at other things while I waited. Approximately 20 minutes have passed by now. No one ever came. I went on to get my shopping done and my mother tried once again to get this item. She approached another sales associate and told her she needed help. This associate told her she needed to go to customer service and ask for assistance. My mother said I shouldn't have to. During all these times trying to get someone we saw multiple sales associates walk by us. Most were on their phones ( maybe work phones, I don't know, but their heads down in their phones). None the less she didn't receive her $1.09 item she wanted. I throw that out there because close by was other items that were $25 and more that wasn't locked up. THEN as I am going down an isle I see a sales associate with a buggy and she kinda had the end blocked with her buggy that had trash in it. She was putting belts up and as she's tearing them out of the cellophane wrapper to put them up she is throwing the wrapper into the buggy. She turned and had her back to me when she saw me and my granddaughter coming down the isle. I gently grabbed the end of her buggy to move it out of the way so I could get by and I WAS GOING TO PUT IT BACK WHERE IT WAS , MAYBE MOVING IT 12 INCHES OR SO, SO I COULD SLIP BY HER. I didn't want to bother her as she was working. She turned around and grabbed the buggy jerked it from me and said IF you would just say excuse me I would move it for you. Now don't get me wrong this could have went south really quick because I was already not pleased with this store and their employees by this moment but I calmly said I was going to put it back and I hope you have a nice day. I've worked in retail many times in years past , I get it. It's not fun alot of days and you do run into some hateful customers. BUT this store In particular could really use some training on how to be more customer friendly. If it wasn't for us customers they would not have a job there. I got her name and I could turn her in, but I don't want to ruin her job but these employees really need to be trained on treating the customers as if we matter.
