We have had an exceptional experience at Goddard Beachwood for our infant. Great communication and wonderful/caring staff and directors. Thank you so much for providing quality childcare that we can rely on.

My kid used to go to this school and she came back angry and mad every single time. I moved her to another school with way better environment and I can only feel the difference through her attitude and mood.
You go into the Goddard in Beachwood and it’s just chaos , noise and kids are shouting and yelling in every class.
It’s a shame that a school thinks about money (packing a lot of kids in a tiny class) more than physical and emotional safety.
The manager asks parents specifically to write google reviews so she can get better score :) don’t believe everything you read here.

This "school" is just bad!
They're rude, unprofessional, expensive, overrated, and couldn't care less about your child's well-being.
First off, they overcrowd classes and then add rotating teacher assistants to keep the ratio low. But here's the kicker - these assistants switch classes every week or so! If you have a toddler, you know how devastating that is. They can't form a bond with a teacher because it's someone new every now and then. And don't even get me started on the management - it's a total mess.
The owner thinks she's some kind of expert just because she's got a PhD and teaches at some university. Newsflash: it doesn't make her qualified to run a school. She can't handle complaints, sends out anonymous surveys, and only contacts you if she doesn't like what you have to say. And yet, she's always bragging about her staff, but the turnover rate is ridiculously high in my experince a lot of new faces in short amount of time.
But the biggest issue is safety. We've had multiple instances where our kids' safety was questionable, and it's clear they're not being properly supervised. And we're not the only ones - other parents have had the same experiences.
The final straw was when my wife attended a class and saw teachers laughing at a child who wouldn't stop talking. Are you kidding me?! That's not a learning environment, that's a nightmare.
We only kept our kid there because we thought it was the best option, but boy were we wrong. If you live in Beachwood, do yourself a favor and check out Sweetkittiles instead. They're more affordable, have a better teacher-to-student ratio, and actually care about your kids' development.

Have been bringing our two sons to this location because of its play based curriculum
It's clearly worried we'll for our graduated son who's in grade school and excelling and keeps our other son safe and entertained whenever he's there.
Great teachers, especially Ms Nautia (sp), and staff.

Goddard Beachwood has been an incredible experience. The administration and teaching staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for the children. I am so happy to have both of my children in such a positive, friendly school!

We sent both of our kids there - an infant and a pre-K student. I appreciate the teachers and the management team; they always respond promptly and quickly resolve any questions. The kids are happy. The teachers are always professional and compassionate with the little ones in their care, although they have their hands full. The pre-K teachers are enthusiastic and treat the kids with respect. I highly recommend this daycare for anyone in need of quality care.

Left my job of 5 years to come here and get a fresh start, the work conditions are horrible the administration team is very unprofessional, teachers are hardly ever able to get bathroom break when needed, without administrators referencing that the time they go on break for lunch should determine when they are to use the bathroom. While they sit in the front office chit chatting and teachers are in need of a restroom break. Most classrooms lack the materials needed for the children to be successful, or the materials in the room are not developmentally appropriate for the children. Feels like you’re working in a factory. The work conditions here are inhumane. The owner likes to go to administration when she see’s a staff member isn’t performing his or her duties instead of talking to the employee herself. You apply for a specific position and they place you wherever they feel comfortable based on the need for staff in certain classrooms. Administrators pick and choose who the rules apply to. Most certainly would not recommend that any one with a passion for teaching work here or anyone with children send their kids here. This entire location needs to be shut down. Great teaching staff but horrible management.

DO NOT send your child to The Goddard school located in Beachwood. My son started school here October 2023. He started off in the Get Set class for 2 year olds . I have nothing bad to say about the teachers and aides in THIS class. Ms.Sue and Ms. Karnica are great and my son enjoyed going to their class everyday . This month he transitioned to the preschool class and it has not been the same experience. Most mornings he does not want to go into the classroom and today he didn’t want me to leave him . My mother picks my son up most days from school and today she witness two kids pushing my son and one tried to sit on him . She saw this happening while two of the teachers aides stood around doing nothing . She confronted them and they told her these kids behave like this everyday and that their parents don’t teach them any better at home. She was told by them that the parents pay a lot of money to the school and they feel like these kids can do whatever they want because of this . I paid tuition for my son to attend this school as well and I expect more from his TEACHERS and the staff. They are the adults . These grown women were standing around watching a kid get bullied and I am not okay with that and no adult and especially no parent should be okay with that either . Why is this okay ? Are these teachers afraid of the parents ? Are they afraid of the owner ? They had no explanation besides the kids behave this way everyday . This is supposed to make me feel better about sending my child there ? Do these kids behave this way towards my son everyday ? I trusted them with the care of my child and they allowed this to happen to him . If I did not feel like this was a concern I would not have pulled my son from this school today . I am not comfortable with him being there and I would not recommend anyone sending their children to The Goddard School. Kristina the owner is no better . She was very condescending to my mother and she showed zero concern when I spoke with her . I didn’t hear any real solutions just a bunch of generic responses that would lead to nothing . I even asked if someone can check in on him today and make sure he was doing okay . Of course they said they would but I didn’t hear back from anyone . This is her school and her staff and it’s just okay with her that her teachers would stand by and watch two kids putting their hands on another child . My son isn’t even 3 yet . He’s probably one of the youngest kids in the class . He’s the sweetest little boy and two teachers watched as he was being picked on .It breaks my heart and I am FURIOUS . If I could do something else I would. I wish there were something else that could be done besides writing this review in hope that other parents are discouraged about sending their children here . DON’T DO IT. They clearly do not care about the safety of ALL their students .

The Goddard School of Beachwood is excellent. My child has been attending for nearly two years. Comparing them to two other preschools that I’ve sent my child to, the communication is excellent, the quality of education is excellent and I feel that my son is well taken care of. The school uses modern technology, which helps so much with parent teacher communication (they have their own app), and security.

The teachers are great, the management though is extremely judgemental and horrible though. They contacted my mother asking for the payment and assumed she was paying the bill. Anyway, I've been emailing requesting the invoice to submit to my HSA for weeks(I asked in person for weeks as well), they demand immediate payment even though I have been paying them through my HSA this whole time. They assumed my mom who is unemployed was paying the bill, because of my age? I also am concerned with how many kids they put in the school at once. My son has came home sick on multiple occasions.

Our son started at 15 months when they first opened in February 2021. When I dropped him off I consistently checked for updates and was worried about his care. Now he is almost 2 and half and he absolutely loves it. We appreciate the transparency, and if we have any questions or concerns they are addressed immediately. The curriculum, supports his cognitive, social and mental development. We love all of his teachers, they are professional, inspiring and patience. Lastly, Kristina and Melissa are the best! We are happy to apart of the Goddard family. Thank you ?

If I could rate this location zero stars I would. As soon as we paid the initial enrollment fee the communication from management became almost nonexistent. Nothing was explained and we had just moved from Chicago so the lack of communication caused several issues. As a result we misunderstood when tuition was due and the owner became extremely unprofessional aggressively confronting me while dropping my son off. The entire situation should have been handled in a more professional and respectful manner. I believe my son was also mistreated in retaliation. After this confrontation he became miserable everyday when dropping him off and made references about a teacher commenting on his skin being too dark. While he loved his friends he referred to this school as the scary school. They treat this place like a factory and try to get as many kids enrolled as possible but don’t provide the care and the resources necessary to have the child succeed. They also charge a premium cost for average care and charge additional fees for premium services like lunches and basic gym activities. It’s definitely not worth the price and headache, I’d avoid it.
