Today, I recieved poor customer service from the Bowling Green location after going in with the expectation to have a new car battery installed by them as advertised on their storefront. The employee behind the counter, while friendly, struggled to assist and was not very helpful with choosing a battery to purchase. It seemed like they would benefit from further training. There were also delays in locating batteries in stock. After purchasing the battery (and not before!), another employee openly complained to the clerk and together they refused to honor the free installation due to the outside temperature (about 10 degrees, sunny with light wind), and essentially told me I was out of luck. The store made no attempts to rectify the situation or display any concern for this customer; I was not even offered an apology or a refund. I initiated the return request with the clerk, but another customer stepped in and offered to assist me with the installation at their place of business (which was closed on this day!) I am sincerely grateful to this stranger's kindness. The Die Hard Gold battery, around $250 after a core deposit, seemed like it was on the higher end of "fair" pricing for the rated performance.

We had a very bad experience at this location. I bought a diehard gold battery in July of 2020. In November of 2021, it started acting up. Slow to crank and the power sliding doors wouldn't open. I took my vehicle to Advance Auto and was met with what I can only describe as incompetence and flat out rudeness. Even though their battery tester showed low cold crank amps, they insisted that the battery was not the problem and was fine. They told me it must be a grounding issue. Or the starter. Or the alternator. Anything but the battery. When it died in the parking lot, the kid they sent out to jump it didn't know how. Someone had to come out and teach him. Early on in the conversation, we shared that my wife was about to take a longer trip and we were concerned about this issue. After going back and forth with them during this terrible experience and finally getting a jump so we could leave, the employee helping us smirked and said sarcastically "Have a good trip, I hope you don't get stranded!" I don't recall a time that I've been treated so poorly as a customer.I ended up having to go to an independent shop and paid to have the starter, battery, and entire charging system tested. Their diagnosis? Bad battery, needs a new one. With this proof in hand I called their corporate number and fortunately, they helped me to get a new battery under the warranty. It's now been two years with the replacement battery and we've had no issues, further proving it WAS in fact a bad battery all along. With so many other auto parts stores within eyesight of this place, I would recommend that anyone in need of parts and competent, friendly service go elsewhere.

Always a pleasure to come into the store, everyone there is super helpful. If you have long list of receipts and need someone to do some digging and help you out, ask for Sid. He can do it all!!

Always have what I need. All guys are very good but I always ask for Sid. If you ever go in there, ask for Sid and he will get you fixed up!

The guys here are extremely helpful and know what they're talking about. Any battery bought through here they will install on the spot and same goes for wiper blades purchased here. These guys are awesome!

The lady working the counter in there has a nasty disposition when helping customer's. I imagine she would rather be on her cell phone than answer questions. The guys in there are nice so I feel bad for them.

I never go wrong with this place. They are the same size as all the competitors but you can almost guarantee they have what you need when the others fall short.

Good place. I get most of my parts here. There prices are relatively good, but fluids, mainly oil can be a bit more here than another big store to the south. I've had bad luck with their starters for Toyota trucks here for some reason. Good staff, always helpful and eager to help.
