At first several months ago I was put off a little by my experience, but I must say it has gotten souch better. Adrianne is great. She listens and has been so helpful with getting me back to normal with medication. I do recommend if you can afford it getting the DNA test to help narrow down which medications work best with your body chemistry.

Very displeased and do not recommend this practice. My brother, who was Dr. Desai’s patient, suffers from serious mental illness, is physically disabled, and lives with his elderly mother who is his primary caretaker. He was Dr. Desai’s patient for two months after which time we were compelled to find a different psychiatrist. Dr. Desai refused to listen (and was unpleasant) to his mother who wanted to identify concerns and to help inform treatment. Dr. Desai also requires a credit card be on file. After noticing unexpected charges on the credit card, the family requested (twice) that a record of billings and payments be mailed to the patient for reconciliation. This was not sent, so a negative Google review was posted. This garnered immediate contact from Dr. Desai, who claimed numerous attempts at telephone contact were made to my brother. Dr. Desai suggested we look at Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and only after much insistence, did she agree to send a Payment Receipt document (record of billings and payments) from her office. Review of this document showed two hefty $104 “No show” charges as the sources of the discrepancy. Based on our records, one charge is completely in error and the other charge was made on 2/18/2025, the day of a winter storm that brought 7 inches of snow and sub-zero temperatures to the area. Expecting patients to arrive that day puts them at risk and shows a lack of concern and lack of empathy on Dr. Desai’s part. Even despite the storm, my disabled brother and 90-year-old mother risked coming for the appointment, but when they arrived, were told they came at the wrong time and were sent home. They were then assessed a $104 “no show” fee. Dr. Desai has demanded several times that I remove a prior Google review posted by me a few days ago that she deemed inaccurate. I have done so and am replacing it with this enhanced review. The issues above remain unresolved. Out of concern for others seeking psychiatric care, we wanted to share our personal experience with Dr. Desai and her practice called Comprehensive Minds.

Dr.Desai always gets my kids in quickly. Her knowledge and experience has really helped us so much. My kids are functioning in school and at home now! We drive an hour and 20 minutes to see her and it’s totally worth it!

I’m extremely disappointed in the care I’ve received from this practice. I’ve been there twice now, and both times have left me feeling more frustrated than supported. The provider I met with spent less than 30 minutes with me each time and offered no actionable help — not even a prescription to try and manage my symptoms. Instead, I was told I should pay $400 out of pocket for a genetic test because “medications don’t work for me,” despite the fact that no medications have actually been tried.
I also brought documentation of a diagnosis from a licensed therapist with the proper credentials, but it was dismissed because it wasn’t completed by a psychiatrist. Instead of accepting that diagnosis or discussing it further, I was pushed to pay out of pocket to have their office re-diagnose me — an added cost that felt more like a business upsell than a genuine concern for my mental health.
At my second appointment, I clearly told the provider that my symptoms hadn’t improved — in fact, my anxiety had gotten worse — and yet no action was taken to adjust or offer treatment. I came here looking for support, answers, and some kind of plan. Instead, I left both times feeling dismissed, unheard, and without help. I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking serious psychiatric care.

Great service and legitimate help. I'll say it's felt like a long time since I had felt content and it is in large part of the help I received here.

Dr. Desai is wonderful. She listens thoroughly to her patients and offers solutions specifically for their needs and health status. I had spent many years being treated by my PCP + therapist and was still struggling with the same symptoms and challenges. Within a few appointments with Dr Desai, my treatment plan and medications have been adjusted, and I feel truly well for the first time in many years. I also have a new diagnosis my PCP had never considered. It’s made a significant impact on my quality of life. I am so appreciative!

Absolutely ridiculous business practice! Would not see my 7 year old because we did not have a credit card. Tried to offer our debit card, in other words "real money." The unprofessional lady at the desk coldly said, "then we cannot see him." I really cannot believe this business! Would not recommend, especially because of the horrible "lady" at the desk!!

I have worked with Dr. Desai over the past two years and have grown to understand her high quality of care and empathy for her clients. She works closely with each client to understand their situation and tailor the appropriate treatment plan to ensure the best outcomes. She is inquisitive during our meetings and is interested in learning about the new innovative therapies available for her clients. Heather, Krista, and the rest of the office care deeply about the wellbeing of their clients and foster a comfortable and welcoming environment for their practice.

Everyone is lovely here, from one corner of the office to another. I feel welcomed, understood, and valued when I’m here. Those who have treated me here have always taken my thoughts and my labs into consideration when coming up with a medical plan that works for me. I advise anyone curious about Comprehensive Minds LLC to come in and speak with Heather out front and you’ll feel right at home. I would recommend and have recommended this place to others — I believe others both do have and will have similarly positive experiences here.
