There are such amazing exhibits, classes and more at the museum! We are so lucky to have them available in our community! The last image is a quilt I bought in the gift shop, it's gorgeous! Don't forget them when you're looking to shop for something unique and beautiful!

Really cool quilting displays. Quilts and wall hangings. The depression art work. Then in the circus area was a quilted circus. Absolutely phenomenal.

Can't thank PNC enough for helping make admission free every Thursday. Such a great way to spend sometime downtown Canton!

Went to a gallery opening on Canton's first Fridays the museum hosted and a very nice lady named Libby explained everything to us when we got there. Fantastic museum with great local art. Highly recommend!

We recently moved to the area and I was thrilled to find an art museum nearby and accessible. The art collections and exhibits are interesting and quality. I recently became a member because of the wide variety of classes they offer for both myself and my granddaughter.

I read the reviews before we went, so I knew it would be a small exhibit, but for the price I would have expected to see a bit more. There were 4 galleries. One an art journal from a Japanese American gentleman that lived in the relocation camps during WWII. Another was a photographic gallery of abandon places. There was a cultural exhibit based on the art of one ethnic group. Each art piece was unique in style, form, and design. And a large gallery of local artist work. In the hallway, a local artist was showcased. The staff were very kind.

Wonderful spot with some great works on display. The staff were excellent and I also love that they have a dedicated area to highlight local artists.

Saw the Alex Ross Marvel exhibit, which was amazing! The museum also has a nice gift shop. The museum is free on Thursdays, and also had a special free day when I attended.

Very fun experience for my wife, me and the kids. They gave the kids art projects to do and return to be displayed.

Very compact compared to certain major museums in the area (ahem, Akron and Cleveland). The building looks impoing from the outside, but most of it is a performing arts center, while the actual museum occupies the ground floor of one of the wings. Once you walk inside the museum, it feels like a '70s public library gallery in terms of the setting and the quantity of works on display, which are concentrated in two large rooms split into 4 or 5 sub-galleries. Some of the works are from a permanent collection, while many are from rotating exhibits. Endearingly, many of the works on display focus on local artists. There's even a rotating gallery outside the main exhibit rooms with a featured local artist. Besides the main exhibit halls, there's even more space for community events and arts workshops. On this note, certainly a welcome resource for local residents.

Small, easy place to view artwork. Good for kids and adults both. Can walk and enjoy in about an hour I'd say. 2021-2022 Alex Ross Marvelocity exhibit was amazing!

It punches above its weight class so to speak. For a small museum in a small town they have a nice collection and good rotating exhibits. A cute gift shop with local artisan items for sale. Check their site for regular free entry options - typically certain Thursdays or Fridays of the month.
