Over a year ago, my husband Jonathan wrote a review about the bad experience we had, and he was given a number to call to speak with guest services. We tried calling twice, they never called back. It's a shame because I miss eating at Applebee's, but my family hasn't wanted to go back after having such an awkward experience and feeling like no one ever cared.
Even a year later, whenever I see a commercial for Applebee's, all I can think about is that negative experience and how bad the manager made my family feel. My dad simply inquired about the alcohol policy and never asked the waitress to do anything (let alone anything illegal -- you can read the details in my husband Jonathan's review), but from the manager's overblown reaction, you'd have thought my dad threatened to rob the place.
It was such an awkward experience for my family, and I am very disappointed that Applebee's customer service never cared enough to call us back. My advice to Applebee's: don't treat your customers like criminals, or criminals will be the only customers you have left."
December 2017 by Fun Ghoul"Some of the worst service we've ever received. We were there for about 20 minutes and no one even spoke to us or even offered us a glass of water. The hostess told us that a table that was clearly available was occupied. It's safe to say that my family and I will never eat at Applebee's again. My cousins are only 4 and 6 years old and they barely got a coloring page and crayons."

Tables not bused, kitchen was slow, and orders not prepared as ordered. 2 stars for wait staff who have to apologize for problems and probably get poor tips from customers who do not understand the real issue."

The wait was over 10 minutes just for drinks when the restaurant was not even busy. Met my waitress once! But also had four or five different faces. Order was wrong. How do you mess up a burger?! I will be needing a break from this location."

October 2017 by Trina Carter"The food today is pretty tasty considering it's no longer hot. We were there for about an hour on a quick lunch break but we had to get our food to go. The only thing we got to eat was the spinach dip. It was delicious although it looked a little skimpy."

November 2016 by cincygumdoc"Let me start by saying I don't care for Applebee's and would never eat there; however, it was the pick of my business associate.The parking lot is full of trash, the menus were filthy as were the self pay machines (which translates that employees cannot be trusted with your credit card).The food options were limited and the quality horrible. Do yourself a favor and go up the street to Panera or J Gumbos."
