by far worst company ever dealt with. I just had a heart attack and was in coma for a month along with admitted in hospital for over a month and a half and as soon as I get out of hospital and let them know I'll get back on track they repo my one and only vehicle for work( self employed construction) and to get back to my rehab appointments cause they would except just giving me a few weeks after getting out. just heartless and ripped off bumper doing it. Just a horrible company that don't care. Now I have no way of even trying to get healthy or work cause truck and tools are gone.

Absolutely not! They do not have a billing address so you can set up him billpay through your own bank " we don't do that" They do not mail bill, "we don't do that" They will not do a billing coupon book "oh mo we do not do that".email reminders! Text messages "oh we don't do that" They are utterly ridiculous! I am so sorry to hve financed a car though this ridiculous place. NEVER AGAIN! You are just EXPECTED to remember to pay a bill you can't even auto deduct. I suppose this is how they make money when you you literally hve nothing telling you to pay the bill. They will however call you 14 days after the bill is due. I've never paid a late bill in 56 years ...EVER until I financed a car through them. We are trying to find a bank to refinance the car loan it's so bad. It doesn't even deserve 1 star but it won't let me post without a star so there you are!

This bank is the absolute worse why does it take 30 min to get thru the drive thru when no one is in it I try not to come here but sometimes I need to when the other branch’s are closed the people don’t put your money in the envelope so when you take it out of the drive thru bin it falls out please get better people in here working at the other branches it never takes me 30 min to get my money when no one is in the line

I have nothing but good things to say. They have always been pleasant and accomodating. Their loan process was simple and straightforward. Trisha was especially helpful at the Emerald Pkwy branch.BTW, my favorite part of Google reviews is when people complain about things that are their own fault...Don't want overdraft fees? Don't overdraw you account.

This place takes forever. They arent under staffed, but somehow any time i visit its takes forever and workers are just walking around. Ive came here 3 times and 2/3 times i waited up to 17 minutes in the drive up.... I was the only car there and there was not line. I pressed the call button several times. I went inside and boom maybe 5-6 workers just chilling around. The bank itself is good for people who like credit unions but as far as seevice goes.. 0/10

I do not recommend for a few reasons. 1. Archaic banking practices. Example: Applications for loans are manual, this isn't convenient or modern but at least you would expect confirmation via phone or email or an ability to track the process. None exist. In addition to waiting nearly a week for decision I received no confirmation no communication whatsoever and was only shared information if I was the one to reach out and ask multiple times over the course of 6 days. 2. Members are not valued. Your membership is not a factor in their decisions and has no bearing so there's no value in being or remaining one. They offer relatively low rates but only to those with blemish free perfect credit. Again, no perks in membership. 3. No peer to peer banking options and their app is in desperate need of development. It's the only app on my phone that is this behind on the times. Over the course of over 7 years it has not changed and was not modern even then. It's strange. 4. Last year I closed on my home and needed a check for my savings for the closing. I spent an hour being hassled because the bank flagged me for accessing my own funds and caused my closing to nearly be missed. So again, no value or perk of being a member. I was referred here by my parents so I will let all millennials and those after know this is not an institution for us. I've had 0 benefit of banking with them and no they aren't my primary institution because of the reasons above. After my recent loan experience I will officially close my account as soon as possible. Each bad experience has built on the other but I will say none have been attributed to rudeness so there's the one star There are multiple options ten times better. Please use them and steer far away from ffccu.

Opened an account here for savings. Have a few thousand dollars in there and got a notice threatening to charge me $10 a month for not using the account enough. I have like $5k in there why would that result in any charges? You're earning free interest off my money. I guess I'll put my money somewhere else.Really sneaky practice as I was definitely never made aware of this fee when I signed up. They silently start stealing your money all the while making money from holding on to your money. I see someone else below fell victim. Shocked to see a credit union engaging in such shady practices. An account with a decent balance should never incur fees.

I've been generally happy with FFCCU. They offer very good loan rates for members. There are a few things that bother me enough to drop them to 3 stars: #1 - They used to offer free coin counting and they now charge a fee for that. I have an account and my wife who is on my account has a loan thru them and yet I still have to pay a fee. #2 - You cannot call your local branch directly. You can only call the downtown Cleveland branch. The loan person in my local branch was extremely helpful in the past and now that I'm ready to apply for the loan, I cannot reach her with my questions without going in person. The loan person in the downtown branch couldn't even tell me whether or not there were closing costs on a home equity loan. Fortunately I got the same loan rate with another bank.UPDATE: Now I had to drop them to 1 star. I paid my property taxes online and FFCCU rejected my payment because apparently, you cannot enter your account number exactly like it appears when you log in online. You need to omit the first 3 zeros of your account number and (for some reason) add a couple zeros at the end. This garbage cost me over $200 in late payment fees from the county.Go somewhere else!

This credit union has gone downhill so bad I'm preparing to transfer my direct deposit to my secondary bank. The tellers are rude and unhelpful. A few years ago I decided to use them for an auto loan and the first loan officer completely screwed everything up and didn't put numbers in right. I gave them a second chance three months later and five loan officers were involved for an auto loan. So naturally when it came time to contact me to let me know that I've been approved I got four different calls from four of the five loan officers giving me four different prices on the vehicle. Who does that? Then I'm told that I'm approved for the loan but I have to carry gap coverage transmission and all the other BS that a dealership would push on you but you would never figure your bank would do the same. Also be very alert God for bid if your account goes one cent into the negative they will transfer funds from your savings if it's there to bring you to a zero balance on your account however if you got another item that might be coming out that you may have forgotten about they're going to give you again yet another five dollars. I questioned him about it and they told me all you could just use your settings on the alerts well I've been with the credit union for almost 20 years and I've never heard of alerts so I asked why would I have to set it up why isn't that something that standard across-the-board for members and the girl tells me that not all members need the E alert so basically they've already got you segregated into a Rich category or people that might default that's how I'm taking it anyway. Extremely rude and condescending. Oh,and for the record I bought a used car this past August so I decided to give firefighters a shot from the dealership to see what kind of rates they would give me. Believe it or not FFCCU rates were higher than the two other banks. This with a 777credit score. No late payment history no bad remarks from creditors nothing. Trust me, it's better to seek business elsewhere

I appreciate the branch manager reaching out to me last week in regards to the incident at your Emerald Pkwy. branch. However, the only reason why she reached out to me was to explain to me why I was wrong in the situation and not to hear about how your employees could have handled the situation better. She, in fact, tried to talk over me several times when I was explaining to her the behavioral problems that I encountered from Janice and Jeanette on the day of the incident. To be clear, Janice insinuated that I was up to something dishonest by trying to transfer money INTO my mother's account. And Jeannette and Janice both tried to gas light me when I tried to bring up their behavior. To be clear gaslighting is a form of abusive behavior. To be further clear, when I pointed out to Janice and Jeannette that I didn't appreciate having it insinuated that I was trying to do something dishonest with my own money, the PROPER response from them SHOULD have been "We apologize if our comments came across that way. That certainly wasn't our intent, but we apologize that we made you feel that way. We will take this incident into consideration and use it to further improve our handling of our long- term customers and their needs." Further, when the branch manager called me, the PROPER way to have handled that call would have been to at least start by getting my side of the story. Instead, she called and said "This is why we couldn't do the transaction." When my issue was the poor, abusive attitudes of Janice and Jeanette. As I said, when I tried to explain that to her, she tried to talk over me several times. And when I explained to her that I no longer felt comfortable going into the Emerald Parkway lobby because of the potential for abusive behavior from Jeannette and Janice, all she said was "Fair enough." No attempt was made to understand why I didn't feel comfortable going into the lobby any more...no attempt was made to understand my side of the story. And no attempt was made to correct the employee behavior that continues to make me feel uncomfortable when I go into the lobby. To be clear, this is not the first time I've received by attitudes from Janice and/or Jeannette. I am more than happy to provide specific instances of poor behavior for both of them. I, however, would like to provide these incidents, should you ask for them, to a member of higher management at the Credit Union that the branch manager. I'm sorry this continues to be a blight on an otherwise long standing, professional, working relationship.
