Sunday free days are so great for those of us in the community who want to see some culture but may not have the resources to pay the fees. Thank you!

The art is all over the place! Centuries old, only a couple years old! Thankfully they put the art together in wings and you know where and what you’re viewing. There are plenty of chairs, chairs to carry and use, and little cues to help you appreciate the art through different thought processes.. ie: if you were in the picture what would you smell or hear? Thats a neat way to help people see different perspectives of the art! Free on Sundays, not real expensive anyway, staff very helpful. Bathrooms clean, great gift shop and snack and drinks also across from the main counter. What great way to spend an afternoon! Even has a Picasso!

I've learned that Google reviews need to be read with this in mind: expectation is everything. So yeah, I understand why the people of central Ohio would rate this museum so highly. They either don't know better (as in, they've never taken a trip to Cleveland), or they know that this is the best they're going to get.The museum is small. You could see the whole thing in an hour if you wanted to. Definitely not worth the admission. Plus, the staff has always seemed a bit...unwelcoming. Though maybe that's just me.

Visiting this museum was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was captivated by the rich tapestry of history and culture that unfolded before my eyes. The museum's meticulously curated exhibits offered a fascinating journey through time and space, showcasing a diverse array of artifacts, artwork, and interactive displays that brought history to life in vivid detail. The layout and design of the museum were both elegant and inviting, with spacious galleries and thoughtful signage that guided me seamlessly through each exhibit. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, eager to share insights and answer any questions, which greatly enriched my experience. Whether exploring ancient civilizations, admiring contemporary masterpieces, or immersing myself in local heritage, every moment spent in this museum was a celebration of human creativity and ingenuity. I left feeling inspired, enlightened, and deeply grateful for the opportunity to embark on such a captivating journey of discovery. This museum is truly a treasure trove of knowledge and wonder, and I cannot wait to return again soon.

I didn't expect the versatlity of the collection. It spanned the many changes in style, culture and concept from old flemish masters to a substantial impressionist display and many modern works. My only gripe of modern work which they perpetuate is its wordy use of vacant gender and social justice explanations for a landscape, a still or cubism versus just lady in a hat. I enjoyed the museum. I hope they expand it and increase its depth. They have to catch up to other big cities but its worth the trip.

While this isn't a particularly large museum the collection is well curated and they make great use of the space. An extension was added several years ago and includes galleries for more contemporary art as well as an even space and cafe. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer both free parking and admission every Sunday. There is a donation box at the door but they aren't pushy about demanding any sort of suggested donation. Though if you can afford to make a donation to support the museum you certainly should!

The museum was pretty cool. Much smaller and maybe 1/4 the art work of Cincinnati Art Museum. More modern art than classical, older, art. They did have several Monet’s, a Picasso and my favorite a Jackson Pollock. Cost for adult is $18 but Military and up to 6 other guests are free so my daughter and I got to visit for free. Not much in the way of sculpture art.

Not only is the CMA a place to see world class art but their cafe feels like a hidden lunch spot. It's unbeatable for dining al fresco when the weather is nice. The gift shop is also a good stop when you need a unique gift form someone hard to buy for.
