Our large family lived on Glenn Ave in the 60's. We spent several nights a week at Johnny's Glenn Ave Grill. At that time they had cheap, great food and a family atmosphere until later in the evening when there were lots of drunks. If we didn't know where our father was - we'd always call Johnny's to find him. Ha. Like Cheers, everyone there were friends. Californians have no idea what a neighborhood bar is!!

This is one of the best little secrets in grandview! It seems to be busier and with a younger crowd these days so I think the secret is getting out. Johnnies is so awesome because you can come here and get the cheapest drinks of your life and do the best people watching!

We call this place Johnies, and it's really a great hidden gem. The perfect 'trash bar' cheap good drinks, plenty of parking out back. Pool table, pinball, a decent patio full of,tv's a juke box and tables and chairs and a great bar! Help yourself to peanuts and pretzels in the kitchen :)

Small neighborhood bar. Cash onl. appears that everyone is welcome. No one stared at us two obviously gay guys.
