Went there to do a class assignment and not to buy anything. Staff was super helpful and nice and didn’t pressure me to buy anything even though I was just using the store for my assignment. From what I saw, great variety at different price points, definitely going back to buy when I need to restock.

The worst pharmacy in Columbus. Dr called in a basic generic monthly Prescription and it takes them over 36 hours to fill. Pathetic!!

Decent location and selection, but it irks me to stand in line at the only checkout with capacity to hold the groceries I purchased while I check MYSELF out. Staff stands around watching me wait. I only come here once a week and I buy enough food to last me for the week. I don't mind self checkout, but why only one open while four families wait to pay? While I believe that Kroger's corporate objective is to drive me to online ordering, they've not invested enough in the infrastructure to assure that I order online from them.

***Reposting My Recently Deleted Review (from 2012):I did go to this Kroger when I moved downtown 13 years ago. The King Ave. Kroger had not yet been rebuilt; and it seemed like it was always ransacked and out of, basically, everything. This Kroger seems bigger than that south campus Kroger. This Arena District German location looks and feels like it has more aisle space - a big deal in the urban core. Their organic and vegetarian sections have more variety, tooI feel this is the best store around the downtown area. However, King Ave. Kroger is closer to home, so it all basically boils down to how much "variety" I'm looking for on a grocery shopping outing.

Dirty dirty dirty. This store has gone down hill ever since the avian Eagle in German Village closed. With zero competition in the area Kroger corporate has neglected this store. I went shopping on a Saturday around 11;00am. There were no shopping carts available inside (I tend to out my groceries in a shopping cart). So I walked outside to get my own cart. Mr Kroger if you want my money I expect clean stores with shopping carts available.

Great location just south of Downtown Columbus. All the usual items and typically well stocked. I also get my annual flu shot here and sometimes prescriptions from this pharmacy when pricing around.Store had gone through a bit of decline over the years (personal opinion) but go here as a nice option to South Parsons and East Main Kroger locations.

I don't go to this Kroger a lot because they never remodel their restrooms they just keep it in bad shape and might let it collapse. We don't want it to collapse. They keep things broken in the restrooms which is not a good thing.

Went to this location yesterday and was pleasantly shocked to find the meat counter was actually open because I was hoping to buy some fresh salmon. They had two old, sad looking tail portions and a pile of whole fillets that looked great. (I'm not sure of the technical term, but they were each a whole half of a fish that would feed like 8-10 people and probably would've cost around $40-50 for the whole thing). I asked the women behind the counter if could get two single-portion fillets cut from the larger pieces. These large pieces were much fresher looking and I wanted center cuts and not tail cuts. She said they aren't allowed to cut them up and we're supposed to sell them whole. I've had fish portions cut up before here by other people who work the meat counter. So, I'm wondering if this is an absurd new policy or if this woman just didn't want to do her job... Also, don't trust the pharmacy hours posted online because they aren't correct.
