This museum has been open to the public for as long as I can remember and it is rich in history. If you love history of old towns and especially history of the pottery and China that was made in this area then this is the place to soak up that knowledge. There is also a trivia night held every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Very good crowd of people and a fun time.

A smattering of pottery representative of some of the 200 potteries that existed in town. A small museum of how pottery was made in the beginning of the 20th century. Very small gift shop.

What a gem of a museum, housed in a beautiful, old post office. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Many, many displays of Ohio's early pottery and dinnerware, displayed in festive holiday tables too. We'll definitely be back.

It's an interesting regional history lesson. The building used to be the city post office. A cool reminder that the post office used to be a beautiful central hub for most cities instead of the plain no style boxes they are now.

The Museum of Ceramics would probably be better named "The Museum of East Liverpool Ceramics, 1840-1930". ? I'll admit that I didn't know that's what I was getting into. We had a great time, though. The woman staffing the front desk was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful. She answered our every question. The building is historic and interesting, although some of the displays are a little worn out. The basement is a gem of information, and the wall-sized photo of factory workers from the period is worth admission alone! We stared at it for a long time. There's something about life-sized photos from that period that really makes you think about who they were and what their lives were like. There is a bottle kiln nearby that's maintained by the museum. Ask for directions! You don't want to miss it.

We had a familial memorial hosted here and the entire service, from a guest point of view, was fantastic. Whole place was very clean, had several open bathrooms for guests. Elevators work great, and plenty to see for the museum, too.

Jenn suggested that we come early due to classes being held and then gave us an outstanding tour. Such an interesting history to the town. One of our favorite tours during a yearlong tour of the USA. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

What a fun Museum! So glad we made it a part of our trip. It was wonderful seeing more of the history of american made ceramics, and the master craftsmanship from the early 1900s.

One of the greatest experiences of my life. So much information and historic pieces. Dioramas are breath taking. Jen is full of knowledge and super sweet. Can't wait to go back and submerge back in time. Thanks for the "Jerusalem " of US ceramics!!!!
